  1. No. What are you working on? Year and model, type of carb (Feedback or non, Hitachi, Carter-Weber, etc)? GD
  2. Last time I checked I was able to get one no problem. Probably been a year or more though. GD
  3. No that is not the FPCU. But the real FPCU doesn't have any fuses in it. GD
  4. Larger diameter will just result in less pedal travel and feel. Order the rebuild kit from the dealer by the VIN. Problem solved. GD
  5. Either you aren't using OEM cables, or it's routed improperly. You MUST get the cable from Subaru. And it MUST be routed under the steering column. Also the fork pivot, etc needs to be greased and working smoothly. GD
  6. Jerry may not be around anymore. Last I heard his health (and memory) wasn't that great..... https://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/profile/99-bratsrus1/ Hasn't posted since 2018. Great guy and a great fabricator but if he's still with us he's about 65 now. GD
  7. Pump is about $500 from Subaru. Well worth it for OEM quality. Most used one's unless they have a sticker on them will be OEM. Avoid anything that's been obviously painted or has reman or China stickers, etc. GD
  8. It's just normal failure due to age of the rubber. I would get a new one from Subaru - they are $200 and the repair should take less than 1 hour. GD
  9. Everything electronic is on the manifold. Except the crank and cam sensors which are the same. GD
  10. Yes. Harmonic balance failed completely. Either a new one from Subaru or one of the many "lightweight" units will work. I personally prefer the Fluidampr, but they aren't cheap. Lightweight is not really ideal for these engines as the weight helps to prevent phantom misfire codes, etc. We always recommend the Fluidampr, and a lightweight flywheel if you want to rev quick and not have misfire codes or problems with harmonics destroying bearings. GD
  11. What is your "issue" exactly? Master cylinders rarely fail and are easily rebuilt. GD
  12. Yeah but is that a whole unit or a price for service? And the web site is copyright 2004 so I don't believe anything on it. They do good work though. Small distributor shop - very old and cluttered. Staffed by grey beards. GD
  13. The EA power steering isn't up to the task. I keep blowing out steering racks on my 6 lug swapped lifted hatch as well. Need to retrofit something larger. GD
  14. You will have to call them. Been many years since I had the need. Probably a couple hundred would be my guess with rebuilding the complete unit including the vacuum advance, etc. GD
  15. The 5EAT is notorious for a variety of problems. Mostly with the valve body and wiring harness. You will need to query the Transmission Control Module to find out what the actual problem is. P0700 is a generic code from the Engine Computer that has been stored at the request of the Transmission Module. GD
