Yes it has a cd deck and some pioneer box speakers behind the seats... sounds pretty good...

Listen to them some but there was a few punk bands I did listen to more. First off was the Dead Milkmen, then there was Black Flag, MOD, the Circle Jerks, Misfits, and the Meatmen (We are the Meatmen and you suck)... how can you not like that title....... C.O.C. before they became more metal.... saw them open for the Ramones in 87... OH and the first Violent Femms CD... Love it..... My range of guitar oriented music varies but its all good to me..

My new 79 Brat... Trying photobucket for the first time so I hope I do it right and it works..

I notice when I drive my 79 Brat (which of now I call it the Brizat) that when I play old school 80s/early 90s rock/alternative music that its sounds just so right to be listening to it in my brat. Maybe becuase in high school I was listening to those songs/bands while driving my first car ever my first 79 brat. If I play something newer say mid 90s til today music it dosent feel right. Recently I played in my brat early stuff like Iron Maidens "Piece of Mind" cd, Badlands self title cd, U2s "Joshua Tree" and Pearl Jams "Ten" cd. I have plenty of other early bands I use to listen to while driving my first Brat as well such as Tesla, Queensryche, Danzig, AC/DC (early Bon Scott stuff of course), Dokken, Dio, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Living Color, Faith No More, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Led Zeppelin, Power Station, The Smithereens, REM and many more... So Im set... That stuff takes me back to the old high school days and early 90s whenever I play it while driving in my Brizat!!!

Not too shabby.... She looks pretty solid and very restorable. I think I have a drivers side front turn signal lense with the chrome cover for you. Ill have to check first but if you want it let me know.... Love that color too....

Well you found the right place. Lots of people here might have spare parts. Ive found everything I needed for my 79 Brat. Sometimes things take a while but between here, ebay and craigslist you can find what you need.. Good luck. and if you decide to get the 81 brat, please post pics... We like pics here or at least i do:lol:

Well almost. Pushbar and targa stripes now on... I still have an A/C unit and parts that will have to be done in the future but for now... Shes done... I want to thank each and everyone of you who has helped me in finding all the parts I need... big and small.. And thank the USMB as well.... Thank you all!!!! Heres a few pic for now but Ill try to get better ones with not so much glare here soon.. These are just teasers...

Well got the pushbar all on... Now waiting to hear back from the guy whos going to install the targa stripes... Afriad to attempt that stuff myself. I dont have a steady hand or patience. Hey Pooparu... Are these hard to put on straight???
