The problem is I have no horn. No sound, nothing. It dosent work. Couldnt find it under the hood niether. I think someone took them out when the converted the front end 82 DL Brat grill and lights to a 83 GL 4 headlight and grill. So my 82 brat looks like an 83. They must of yanked the horns and never bothered putting them back. Anyone have an extra so I can hook at least one up? Thanks for all your help guys..........

My horn dosent work in my 82 Brat. Never did scince I have had it. I know in my 80 Brat you can see the horn by the engine. My 82 dosent have this. Is it missing or am I not looking in the right place? Please help me find my horn. Ooh me so horny...

What weight and brand of gear oil should I use in my brats? Ones an 80 GL brat and the other an 82 DL brat.

Mick, I need one front bumper turn signal lens. Theyre yellow, right? Also how much for the t-tops and gaskets. I would like to eventually install them on my 82 DL Brat. Can it be done?

Well I finally had the gas tank change. Runs sweet now. Thanks Shawn. It worked great:clap: Im a happy camper now. Next step, get my 80 Brat running better again. I think Charlie Brown once said it best; UUUHHGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:temper: Thanks for everyones help.

That was for my earlier post about my 82 brat hesitating. Now about the MFer part. I notice my 80 brat had a bit of oil getting on the front of the engine. A small oil leak somewhere right? Well I put this oil leak engine sealer from goldeagle products. Holy S%#@T!!!!!!!!! What a mistake. It was runnng smoothly, but now it runs like rump roast. Its smoking out the tailpipe. Its running very rough and it lost alot of power. It was only in a half a day after putting this crap in when it started this crap. So the next day I change the oil and plugs but no difference. It still runs like rump roast. HELP!!!!!!!!!!! How can I get it back to the way it was... Im so pissed I put that s*#t in! :madder: What can I do? Anyone PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tried the seafoam stuff...no luck. My mechanic thinks its just sludge in the gas tank. Im getting the new gas tank put in hopefully this weekend. Thats my only option. I hope that it solves my problem:brow:

When they put on the new tires today they found a crack in one. You have a spare one around. Also need 3 of the bolt like center caps for them and front mudflaps for the 82 brat. Can you help? Well got my new(used) 82 brat from my mechanic the other day. Had the brakes(all around) done, new rear shocks, new front struts and a new fuel pump put on it. Also put new tires on it today. Drove it today back and forth from work, about 15 miles each way. Well, while on the highway for about 10 min it starts hesitating like its not getting gas just here and there. Drops my speed from 60 to like 40. Whats up with that? I get off the highway and while driving slower it dosent seem to do it. Im afraid Ill be stranded the next time I go to work. I dont get it.:cornfuzz: My batterry light kinda flickers on and off though. Should I replace it? Im also putting on a new dist cap and wires tomorrow. Could these things cuase this hesitation?:madder: Anyone else have this problem? It seems like it just decides that its not getting gas and wont excellerate. HELP!!!!!!!
