  1. Just try driving like a grandma for a tank and see how that goes
  2. well on my brat its right beside the battery. im not sure on yours. it could look like a tube, could look like a box. best way to find it is trace the coil wire from the distributor cap (center wire). a coil shouldnt run you more that $50-60
  3. 140 on both works well here at ~4000 ft. (stock size jets)
  4. Ive got a set of axles on the way, every joint had about half an inch of slack. U joint is bad too i will be replacing it
  5. Bump bump guys, make me an offer! I know my asking prices are high i just dont want to get taken! I know somebody wants this stuff!
  6. I'll bet im the only ea71 with gold valve covers! Hahaha, didnt you know that adds 25hp?
  7. it wont seem so bad after a year or so buyers remorse!
  8. got the fenders all finished up and re mounted today. i think they turned out pretty good honestly. re mounted the valance as well. its starting to look like a car again! oh and finished swapping out caliper/disc/struts from the wagon, so im going to be selling that now!
  9. well, any one of us could have told you that, HOWEVER, now you know! and you have a subaru brat! haha
  10. i love that car! man i wish i had some money to throw around hahaha
  11. some people discussed this on here before and the consensus was that the atv rims just are not going to be able to handle the weight. our Subarus are 2-4 times the weight those atv wheels were designed to handle.
  12. so finally some progress! did what bondo work needed to be done, though i didnt fill the dents, just where i had welded patches on. i pretty much just left the dents there, because i plan on USING this thing off-road, it will see its share of leaning against trees and rocks and scraping through bushes and i just know it will get a ton of dents, so it doesnt really make sense to do all the work to fix the ones it already has! anyway, sanded down the fenders after bondo, 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of paint on each and they are drying, tomorrow i will do the black stripe on each! while i was waiting for the bondo to cure, i took a dremel and cut out the stock location for the radio so it would fit me new one, i think it worked out really well! (barely fit)
  13. If they are new thats really unlikely but anythings possible
  14. perhaps gunk in the brake lines or master cylinder
