  1. i know its off topic but... whats the quick story on that red wagon?
  2. these are about half of the regular depth so they will fit flush, they are a good stereo too. only thing is they dont have dedicated subwoofer outputs, but they do have rca rear outputs, you just have to put bass blockers inline somewhere. http://www.amazon.com/612UA-MP3-Compatible-Digital-Media-Receiver/dp/B004S50WPG
  3. havent gotten much accomplished lately, waiting for the set of axles i bought to be delivered but i did manage to get a stereo for the BRAT! its even half depth so it will fit!
  4. look inside the rotor and you will see the 4 little contacts around the edge, if those are oxidized or melted, replace it. if not, clean them and put it back on. same with the rotor
  5. idk how much of this you have done but high power coil, new wires, new plugs, new dizzy cap and rotor, new fuel filters, new air filter, and most importantly, run non-ethanol gas.
  6. best to just do an ej swap honestly. easier, cheaper if you get a donor car
  7. Its all boxed up and ready to go but you've got to throw me an address man
  8. Hey, you bought a subaru! Thats never a bad purchase!
  9. well... i hate to be a downer but i think you overpaid by about $2000. its a good looking brat, but with the problems you described... i hope you are willing to put a little more into her! first things to do, swap ALL fluids (oil, tranny oil, diff grease, coolant, etc...), look into getting a Weber 32/36 installed on it, i have a feeling that will help with your fuel consumption problem. try charging that battery overnight, then drive it around for a while to see if it charges (sometimes the alternator just isnt enough if the battery is dead enough). if your battery wont charge on a charger, new battery time. if your BRAT wont charge it, get a new alternator installed.
  10. well i took the picture so im gonna upload it anyway just for reference
  11. today i swapped the drivers side strut, disc, shoes, and caliper. why i chose the day after the only real snow we have had this year, i dont know. it all went really smoothly for once! really not much to say on this one although the wagon struts are a little different, they seem to have adjustment bolts?
