  1. maybe not! but it sure seems to apply thus far! haha everything i try to do, i end up having to do a bunch of other things before i can get to my original thing! but thats alright, its all fun
  2. oh i'll post as many pictures as i can! i just hope it goes fairly easy, which it should seeing as the engines and transmissions are the same, but you know... Newtons law...
  3. honestly what ive done in the past is just haul on the steering wheel with hands or a bar until the steering lock breaks. though to be fair ive never done that to a subaru so i dont know how difficult they are, on others though its really not that hard.
  4. today i brought both my doors in the shop and attacked them with a wire wheel to get all the rust off, then took an orbital sander and took all the paint off that wanted to come off, blew them off with the air hose, hand sanded them to give them texture, blew them off really well, taped up the handles, keyholes, and gaps where the paint could get onto the window at the top, and painted them! ran out of time though had other things to do, so one door is done with the green paint, i just have to do the black stripe, the other door has the primer coats on it and is ready for green tomorrow morning! i'll have those doors back on tomorrow afternoon, then on saturday im pulling the engine/trans from the wagon and putting it in the brat, and vise versa! wish me luck! hahaha
  5. its an awesome OHV park about 5 miles out of Baker City Oregon, there are miles and miles of trails, sand, mud, rocks, and if you go far enough there are trees tons of room for a bunch of subies to play! and a stock vehicle can do most of the stuff too!
  6. ive decided where im going! virtue flats in baker oregon, i guess they have all sorts of different trails there for different difficulty levels, anywhere from mudding, to rock crawling, to sand. anybody want to join me?
  7. buddy of mine did that to his nissan, then to a ford! haha they were both fine the next day... idk if thats normal but they wouldnt do anything that day he hooked them up wrong, but the next day they both were fine
  8. been at a standstill on the brat waiting for paint, shipping hassle with home depot. they gave me the wrong tracking numbers so i contacted them and they "recalled my order" and "refunded me" and today i come home and guess whats waiting for me on the porch! PAINT! oh and in case you are wondering (probably not but i feel like bragging) whats the deal with the car stereo behind the box of paint in my picture, i built my own surround sound system! why? i was bored because i couldnt work on my brat! haha, anyway ive got a DUAL brand stereo powered by an old computer power supply pushing 4 magnavox surround sound speakers, two components and two mid/highs. and ALSO i have a 600 watt bridged amp powered by the same computer power supply pushing a DUAL brand 875 watt subwoofer to top it all of yeah, the neighbors hate me! anyway, im excited to be getting back to work on my brat! swapping engines and trannies between the brat and the wagon this weekend, should be an adventure!
  9. glad you figured it out! weber all the way! so much easier and simpler that way
  10. wow... i am so jealous of you right now haha! its a dream of mine to get a 360, just cant... yet...
