83 Hitachi has weird idle problems

weber carb is definitely the way to go, however if you are dead set on keeping your hitachi... it really sounds like you are having vaccuum problems. just go along every hose with your eyes and look for cracks or dry rot. -

ive got a few holes in my fender wells, i didnt patch any of them though. i just cut out all the rust, wire brushed, rust killed and painted.

yeah honestly theres not much to those brackets, it would be really easy to just fab one up. alright when it thaws out as in spring? -

Pulled the fender off the wagon that i need, put the bad brat fender on the wagon. Pulled the other fender and doors off the brat, and the hood. Wire brushed and bedlined everywhere under the fenders. Tomorrow im going to get the doors fenders and hood in the shop and start sanding and painting.

i feel exactly the same! and yeah, jackmans look amazing on these old brats ive got a set and i was debating on whether i wanted to paint them white or black, and that picture just made up my mind, black! i do have a set of chrome rims that would look good, but i think i might sell those

actually my doors are in good condition strangely, thats like the only thing i dont need! haha yeah just let me know what you have when you can. just to let you know though, shipping is going to be expensive... -

im sorry about that, i hope your friend is okay! however, if you have gen 1 parts i'd love to have a new windshield. or struts, or maybe fenders, or a lot of other things haha -

yep just remembered i measured mine after the 4 inch lift and it sits at 30.5 now
