  1. the second (thinner) fan is the fan that came on AC equipped cars. it only comes on thewn the AC or Defroster is turned on (stock). I have both my fans wired to a dash switched relay.
  2. http://www.ci4wi.org/Portal/modules.php?set_albumName=mcbrat&id=PDC_0032&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_photo.php I have about 5 new dents, including the fender
  3. Paul, what kind of bracket does the AC compressor use to mount up... I've seen a few different kinds. the one I most see, is a complete one piece unit that is cast iron, and has 2 pulleys for the AC. a fixed pulley below the compressor and towards the center of the vehicle a tad. and the adjustable one for tightening the belt, to the left of the alt... if you have that set-up, and the bottom pulley is missing, I have a spare none of the set-ups I've had ever had the double pulley on a ea81 waterpump... got any pics?
  4. okay, here is a preview of the new shirt design. I need to re-work it to include the B9 ans STI yet though.... when we do shirts this time, we wont have as many color optiosn, etc.... last time was a pain to coordinate because of all the different options....
  5. that page is the old one. we will not be offering all theose shirts, etc... wait for the thread later this fall on shirts jeez, like kids in a candy shop ...
  6. yes, I copied the design, (I got one just like it off eBay) and had TheSuckerKing (board name) owner of "Flappy's Print Shop" print them up. we are kicking around the idea of having another shirt offering up, but were'nt thinking about doing the Brat one this time around. I have a new "Ultimate" design..... if there is enough interest for more Brat shirts, we could probably do some as well.... I will post something when all is decided....
  7. about 14 mpg on my 5" lifted Brat. of course that's with a Holley 600 cfm carb on a non-stock motor best I ever got with a weber was around 20.
  8. Paul, if that's the water pump I sent her, it should work. sounds like you are missing the bottom tensioner pulley??? I've never seen a water pump with the double pulley...
  9. my 87 Brat has 59k on it..... actually 3 of my 4 have under 100k.....
  10. with hard town driving, I've getting 20 mpg, so I'm pretty happy with that... boy these 1600s sure can rev shifting out of first at 6500 is fun though the other night, I was taking some pretty hard corners, and I ended up blowing out the bead on my right front tire. had to replace the tire.....
  11. there's a couple on this page with the wrap around style.... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/brats/bratcolors/bratclrs.html but they look like mostly 1 color decals though....
  12. this is a door decal for Gen1's..... it came with the Gen2 Ski Team decals....
  13. I have some RX checkered seats I could put in too, if needed....
  14. that's about the same price as a xt6 alt from the parts stores...
  15. yes, here in Russ's area, before a storm hits, they just go ahead and spray down a brine solution just in case. so the streets are usually white from salt all winter, even if there's no ice/snow... lovely....
  16. if you're talking about the rear diff swap, a 3.90 VLSD from a 91-92 Turbo Legacy will bolt right in. it's stub axles are held in with a c-clip, instead of the bolts that the EA diffs use.
  17. Hey folks, looks like I'm gonna be in WC, PA for work on Oct. 3-5. for work. looks like they've even got night stuff planned for us, so not sure if I'll have any time to meet anybody, but just for kicks, who's close......?
  18. I currently have the drivers side one still hooked into the PCV valve, and the pass side on has it's own filter.
  19. I just happen to have this for you http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/mick/paintchips.html
  20. Russ, you may want to check with City Brake/Import Auto Parts in DSM. I get a lot of stuff there. Mick
  21. that's where my second battery is sitting my engine bay is no different, with the weber, or the holley (except the holley takes up more room, and eats more gas)
