  1. Its ok that you only know two people. I feel like I know everybody. Most people are really nice so dont worry bout it. You will meet people like super fast. Im soooo stoked.
  2. Yes I will be there. Im so exited. Have been nonstop since saturday. Im heading out with Eric early Friday.
  3. here is one from the scorpion website, and a link http://http://www.scorpionsubaru.com/photos.htm
  4. After some research I have found that the adjustable struts came on 85 and 86 wagons. Are those the only years. I wanted to raise the front of my wagon about an inch cause its lower in the front. I know it will decrease travel if I crank the struts down but thats ok. Will this work? Thanks Brian
  5. http://http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=14123&highlight=biggest+tires Do a search you will find many threads regarding tire sizes. Quote from Mc Brat
  6. right after the show since I dont know who is going to be there.
  7. wow where have you been? this thread has been up forever. Like almost a year! Anyway it is a calendar with subaru pictures. You can buy one if you attend WCSS6 that is if I dont run out.
  8. I saw a first gen brat at the Lynwood Pull-A-Part the other day when I was there. It was baby blue with a white canopy, said Hatch Patrol on the windshield. Also had a big number five on the side. It was kinda sad. I sat in it and pretended to drive it. It was fun. I like brats even more now. Just wondering who's it was. May it rest in peace.
  9. Yes Tim I got your check. And I do have your address. I have all the envelopes from the people that sent checks. I recieved twelve checks total. However I just fronted the money and bought 50 calendars. So I will be selling them at WCSS6!
  10. They should be done very soon here and if you are at wcss6 you can get it there otherwise I will send them to you. I have had many problems with my computer. I am now working off a friends computer. Sorry everyone. They will get done however. I dont want to jip anybody.
  11. My car was boken into and the rear driverside window of my wagon was the one that was broken. Are there tricks for getting that rear window in and out? Im planning on replacing it with one from pullapart but I dont know how to get the window out. or do they take all the glass out at pull apart I cant remember. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Brian
  12. Hey mudrat I havnt gotten your new check either. Have you sent it or is the USPS messin stuff up.
  13. Sorry again. Mudrat has not sent me money yet. Cansomeone call him or PM me with his phone number.
  14. One downside to the wagon is the departure angles. I hit my front and rear bumpers on stuff that I see Erics hatch go right over a few seconds before me. But if you lift it enough its not a problem.
  15. Well I got it off. I ended up using an open end box wrench and propping it up against the left engine to tranny stud and putting the wrench in the teath of the fly wheel. It held it there while I pryed on the bolts with the socket and a 2 foot pipe extension. A big screw driver would have worked also. Anyway thanks for the advice. Just on a side note I would never attempt a clutch swap if the board wasnt available. Everyone has been a great help everytime I have worked on my car. Thanks everyone! Another side note if you care, I fried the clutch two days ago on 5/2/04. My Jeep friends and I went to Reiter Pit(they want us to call it Reiter Trails now because its more politicaly correct or somthing) for the 15th Annual reiter cleanup Day. It was pretty fun, 4byin and picking up stuff. I strapped two tires to the roof rack and put a ton of crap in the back. There was a BBQ also and it was good. After lunch we headed out for some real wheelin'. I think the trail was called backup. Well it was petty knarly and the cheroke with 30's had a harder time than I did but didnt fry his clutch either. I had to get towed out the last 1/8th of the trail. I was able to drive home under my own power but barely got up the driveway and into the garage. Once again reiter wins. Reiter 3 Subee 1. O well. I had fun:) Thanx again Brian
  16. I am putting in a new clutch, and for the liftime waranty to be valid I need to get the flywheel machined. So when I try to get the flywheel off it just spins. My chiltons manuel says to lock the flywheel but doesnt say how(I hate chiltons). So how do you lock the flywheel? Thanks Brian
  17. I know many soobs do it. Its that ticking. Mine used to go away after warm-up but now its constant. Is there any thing to fix it? Thanks Brian
  18. Im very sorry everyone. This has turned out to be a huge disaster. I am still waiting for mudrats money for 10 calendars. Without that money I dont have enough to pay up front and get the bulk discount. As soon as they are made I will send them all out in one day so all you very patient people can get your mega cool calendars. Just a reminder they will be twelve month calendars so you wont get jipped. Thankyou for not getting too mad at me because I would be mad at me. I hope to have these done soon!
  19. Well since its a subaru mag I dont think its a pleo but spose it could be. Nice pix Tex I like the white wagon wheels on the black one!
