I'd just get a dual range tranny then you'll have a lever instead:D -
what kind of rollbar is this?

yup thats from an 80's 4-runner. It looks just like the one Jared and I pulled from a wrecked 4-runner at evans creek a while back. Its in his wagon now! -
If I checked the friggen board more often, I would have gone. Im up for next Sunday with Tex though!

It really really sucks cause nobody had a camera. Jareds digital broke at evans and I didnt have any film left in my crap 35mm. Sorry guys. No it didnt actually roll an the way. It just floped but it was a good flop there was a bank that prevented it from rolling all the way over other wise I think it would have.

thanks for clarifying Tex.

So we decided to go wheeling up at reiter pit tuesday night. Cars that went were Jareds 80s wagon and my 91 Loyal. We arrived there around 8:30 pm and aired down and Jared put in his locker. Heading up the V notch trail we came to a small junction. Jared stoppedfor a second to do something. THen he started going, hit a stump while on a side hill bounced and little Roo landed on its side against an enbankment. once everyone climbed out we were able to pull it back with my car and everyone pushing. It was very exciting. only damages are to the front right fender and door, which we got at pull a part this morning. I hope I got most of the story right. Its just what I saw from my car. I went like this:eek: Jared was like :madder: then we were both like:headbang: It was a fun night.

it was a combination of both. Im pretty sure that the disty was wet. Thats why it died in the first place. Then tex tried to start it then it sucked in water. Tex went through it two times slow before he got stuck.

thanks for putting in the pic of my loyal Jay. Glad you could make it. Thanks to every one who came. I had a blast

Thankyou! I am quite proud of those. We did that trail the night befor in the dark also which made that obstacle very interesting. It was rad:headbang:

I would just start cutting and smashing but McBrats method works well also.

Evan's Creek trip report

I have a five speed dual range out of an 86 wagon and it has the lowest ratio out of the 5 speeds. It did great at evans. I dont use 5th gear to much any more but thats cause I dont like going real fast with my big tires. -
Well since Im not going to be in regular school yet, darn strike:argue: I can probaly go on friday but I might have to leave sunday afternoon. I still dont think my girlfriend can come cause of our parents:( so Ill have plenty of room for people wanting to ride. This is depending if I can get my car together. Does anyone have the console and linkages for an 86 dual range tranny? I should be getting tires today I think and the beast will be ready:banana: Tex isnt comming is he. Jared call me.

there should be a little plate on the diff. that tells you the gear ratio.
