Sometimes you need an analog meter (cheapo at raioshack) as a fluke cant always pick things up. Do you have a ow enough range on the fluke (I amgine you do). How are you checking. With the altenator, with a bad diode set you should be having a charge issue. What is the voltage at the battery when the car is running. You can pull all the fuses overnight and see if you stil have a drain.

Has anyone had an issue with buying used racks on ebay? Good or bad who did you buy them from. I found this on ebay rebuilt with the core charge built into the price. 150598066745 used 280622222412 230637953802 I am considering a rebuilt so I don't need to replace inners, worry about boots etc. For some reason my Mechanics worker (meaning he doesnt know me) quoted 3 hrs to do this. My mechanic quotes book then charges actual whichever is lower. From what i can see: Jackstands Remove front tires dissconnect tie rods center steeringwheel and tie it off. disconnect sterring shaft at clamp disconnect PS hoses remove four bolts remove rack repeat whith new O rings to install Set toe in This doesnt seem like 3-4 hours to me. Looks like a drioveway project over 2 days (bad back folks so no rush on anything under the car) Blue has new outer tierods. A used one would need new inners and boots Inner tie rods 40.00 ish off ebay, maybe another 20.00 for boots (my brain isnt here so bear with me this week)

HOLY BODY FLEX BATMAN! there is no reinforcement for the bulkhead to replace the ridgity of the roof. The rear bulkhead has no insulation to it and i bet that rear window is plexiglass. good luck at 6500. -
http://www.procarcare.com/includes/content/resourcecenter/encyclopedia/ch25/25readtirewear.html another possability is bad wheel bearings but that is a another longshot that would have shown itself by now. Fond another shop. There are many other possabilites but not usual, but all four tires out of alignment etc is not making sense.

I have this. The cam is worn, and at almost 300,000 miles it is allowed. I am not really going to dig into the steering wheel to fix it unless it gets worse. -
If you tow on a regular basis, you want to get over the trailer weight by 50% if possible if you are going to buy a car to replace another. This will cover the trailer, extra weight, and carbon units. An auto tranny should get a real tranny cooler for towing. The tribeca can do it, you just need to to see what kind of terrain you are driving on, what the weight in the car is (people always forget to add that in the equation), and how often you are going to tow. Onve or twice a year, with heavy maint it should do fine. More then that look for something with more power.

It depends how long the system was open. Humidity in the AC system will reduse the ability to cool the car. There is the Receiver/drier that filters and dries out the refirigerant to some degree. You MAY have gotten away with it, but in the future if you cant afford to fix it wait untill you can afford to. I am afraid to ask, how did you fill the system?
