  1. Ya thanks all I just got the transmission back in my car I'll go do the tire mark trick hear in a bit. This is what I have found out OK my stock 3.7 transmission no good so I put a 3.9 in it was planning on taking my 3.7 LSD and swapping it to a 3.9 but have not so I have been running around in 4wd Hi and no frunt axles the gear ratio sucked not a good set up guttlis from 1 to 2 gear. So last night I put that other transmission in did not put front axles in just to see how the car would acted in my opinion it was not guttlis like the other transmission so I don't no well see I just mite end up throwing the rear differential in my car don't want to go to 3.9 but just mite have to
  2. I have an 86 RX 4door it has the 3.7 gears in it the transmission went out in my car I picked up a parts car it was a loyal with a ej22 swop the rear diff is a LSD the car has rear disk braks and it did NOT have the push buttin 4WD it has 4WD low as well so I am assuming the transmission is the 3.7 but I just noticed that the axle stubs are not the same they are the smaller ones did they make a 3.7 trans with the small stubs?

  11. A winter Wheeler in my opinion is something with a good heter lol The smallest lift with the biggest tires You don't need much suspension travel to go play in mud or snow I think that Impreza you picked up with dual range swop would be a great winter Wheeler

  15. Yes I actually figured that out when I got the engine out I took my extra adapter plate for the ej to ea and it fit perfectly kind of freaked out for a second before I pulled the engine thinking oh no I got an engine that won't work but thank you anyway
  16. Okay I'm starting this engine swap. I'm working on a 03 Outback 2.5 single overhead cam. The engine threw a rod i talk to a few people here on the message boards and they told me I can use any 2.5 dual overhead cam or single overhead cam. So I picked up a 2.5 dual overhead cam engine I am going to pull the heads and intake off the engine that I'm taking out of the car and I'm going to put them on the new block I just got. but as I am pulling out the engine right now I discovered there's more bell housing bolts then just 4 is that going to matter when putting the new block back in the car¿¿??
  17. it's not the corner lights lenses that causes the bulbs to fall out the fixture that the bulb sits in the plastic brakes and that's why the bald falls out pm me your number so I can send you the picks that way

EA81's I believe that they are different but any EA 82's will work and yes I did mean head light bucket the wiring is slightly different you just gotta make sure you got the right ones to your high beam and for your low being because they're separate going to dual headlights If you say the front end of your EA82 is wrecked I've got a complete Parts Car if that helps I'll let the part go cheep but I am up by the Canadian border in Bellingham
