Mock up in solid works, Subaru R160 Locker
comatosellama replied to Prwa101's topic in Subaru Retrofitting
Remind me never to come up with something. That's ridiculously expensive And don't you aussies have lockers for it already, although extremely rare? -
And the advanced install is extremely easy and lets you choose if you want 20 copies of the ask toolbar or not

I have a lot of my uncles tools while he's at dartmouth (HI ben), including a hossfeld bender. Supposed to be the highest of quality, right? I can't ever get it to bend without kinking. Everything is on the proper "bits" and everything is nicely lubed up. From tiny wall to 1/4 inch wall I can't do it. And then theres the instrctional video, where these guys bend solid stock like it's nothing. Whats the trick? I wanna be able to use it while I got it

Download malwarebytes/microsoft security essentials, and then make sure to scan all exe files. Don't trust McCafe and programs like that, they just install viruses and then remve them to look good

And would you be able to customize it for more ground clearance? Have the total height be like 6 inches -

How much would production be at this point? Also, have you thought of like maybe trying to license the design through a locker company? I feel like you could potentially patent, you only have to change the design 10% (I don't know how that's measured). Someone on here has to be a lawyer -

Revival time.... Any progress? -
I was hoping 1.8 intake because I was thinking for a 2.2 I'd have to do splicing or something. It's going into an impreza, so I have the ecu. And I'd imagine if I reset the ecu itself figure itself out

I remember GD talking about how 22 and 18 heads were almost the same, is that not true? Or does it change with the phases

Are you still supercharged? If you are I'd say that changes the conversation a bit

Are you welding your center diffs? Edit: nevermind, forgot about 4wd -
I'm thinking 25d block, 22e heads, cometic gasket, all with the ej18 intake so I don't have to touch wiring (that stuff scares me ). Doing this for cheap power in my imp. Good or bad idea? Or maybe just throw a 25d block inbetween my heads. I just miss my power from my 2.5gt.
