  1. That's the northwest for you. Going on portland or seattle craigslist just makes me sad lol.
  2. It's a part out, if you want it. It's on a cj7 and both the frame and the subframes are rusted through It has the flared fenders too, I'm hoping those are worth something too
  3. 200hp? Just swap to an ej22, unless you can get one of rams supercharged units. Exo might be tricky b/c unibody, so the exo might twist and break. Tranny might be hard, old gen subie trans seem to be fragile, especially the 4mt d/r. As would suspension, not much crazy stuff available. Might wanna start bribing your welder buddies now for lots and lots of welding/fab. If you go through with it, make a build thread! I'd love to see something like that bmw 3 series "$500 baja rally car"
  4. Jezek, do you have like a separate hard drive for your limitless supply of subaru links? Lol
  5. For suspension apparently miata stuff works, at least ea82
  6. Title says it. Need a new windshield for my 87, and have a perfect one on my 77 bratish thing. Will it fit?
  7. When you have it on the car, it shouldn't overextend because the tranny and hub should keep it within tolerances. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.
  8. Fiat has to be my least favorite brand. Giving the wrangler IFS is just wrong. They're slowly ruining the jeep wrangler, which I think is the last untainted car from the US.
  9. Ix there a fund I can donate to to save the brumbies? I absolutely I hate to hear a classic soob turned into a chevy cruz
  10. I'd agree with your price. But people really do pay 8k. I hate if for parts prices but I love it because my car might actually be valued by others, not just a huge rush of nostalgia.
  11. I don't even see mine on the road sadly. Need a Y pipe and finish my bumpers and electronics to see mine on the road. Someday though.
  12. That's not quite aircraft spec though, just decked and ported. I'm excited for when the wagons are near worthless then, 87 wagons are my favorite. Every time I see vegablades wagon I drool.
  13. I hear that you should have all 4 tires within a quarter inch of eachother, or risk tranny damage. But I think if you're offroad where you'd slip enough to offset it, having a tire that's an inch off to get you to the trailhead so you can get a tow would be an okay thing in an emergency. Of course a full size spare is always better. I'd go for a pre worn tire from a junker. Cheap and closer to what your tires will probably be at than new.
  14. I wonder if anyone makes a reproduction cyclops unit you can install. I'd spring for it
  15. If you're talking the 4 square one's like an 87 (aka like mine), I can get you all those parts. Have them in a tupperware.
  16. Seems like their becoming collector cars. Prices on everything old gen subaru are going up it seems
  17. Is the market that good in texas? Because the only old gen subarus I see here in Michigan are in my garage. There's a guy on the forum in my city but I don't think he drives it.
  18. That's it, I'm moving to the west coast. I've seen 2 in person my whole life
  19. http://www.ebay.com/itm/subaru-brat-/221742844182 8,000 dollar buy it now. Seems a lot higher than normal prices
  20. Weird. Figured since it's an sti underneath they'd do the rear diff that way
