  1. yeah i had read that haha are they really that bad to get off? any other tips besides 1/2 with a penny and some PB?
  2. Ah ok. I knew it wasn't a big difference but never experienced it myself So figured I'd go with OE recommendations but I'll go with the word of experience and do 75w90 all around. Gonna be doing it Saturday so hopefully weather isn't too cold
  3. i was thinking to use valvoline 80w90 non synthetic for front diff/tranny and valvoline 75w90 non synthetic for the rear diff
  4. Nvm found the exact amount from the dealer. For a 98 impreza outback sport. 2.2 with a manual transmission it calls for 3.7 quarts of 80w90 for front diff/transmission and 0.8 quarts of 75w90 for the rear diff
  5. So from Wat I find our rear diff holds 1qt. How much does the 5mt tranny hold? Planning to do mine this weekend
  6. I'm on my 3rd eBay oil pan. Never had an issue. I just kept bashing em before I had a skidplate.
  7. please.. i need more updates on this.. one of the big reasons i joined this forum was this build.. we..need..MOAR!
