I have an '88 GL wagon but nothing as good looking as yours, here in the DC metro area they uses lots of salt and other chemicals on the roads.

Inspiration to get off my butt and get my sleeper wagon going.

To scrap or Not to scrap

The GL has sun damage trim, the rear window switches are missing and the A/C needs a new banjo bolt. It seems they guy that gave me the GL-10 still can't find the title and my only option is to part it out given MD laws and the cost getting a deceased duplicate title. -

I had a chance to get a free moment to examine the GL-10. The body damage is more than what I expected, the drivers side fender is crushed and looks like the ignition is damaged. The motor is the M.P.F.I. instead of the sickly turbo version. And i think the deal barker is the drive-train, ITS FWD!!!! On that note my friends I will be Parting the GL-10. I will add a link to any post for the parts or you can just message me. (interior is Brown/Red and digital dash) -

point well taken, they both are dry as a bone but the good running GL has a little rust on the rear given living under a short carport as apposed to a full garage like the GL-10. Do you think our forum member would be up for a parting out listing? -
First off Good Evening/Morning all, Here is my story. I recently bought a 1988 SFI 4WD GL from a buddy of mine that he used it as his get-around car. I paid him $500 for he old girl with 121,000 mile on the odometer. As you would expect it runs like a champ but I want more. Looking on Youtube and reading about some of the builds you all have done I have coincided doing a motor swap. The problems with the swaps for me is funding capital and down time. As kind of a kick in the paints a customer of mine GAVE me a 1989 GL-10 that has been in a small garage for 15 years or so. This one is not as clean and has a bent front bumper. I have not tried starting it yet so the condition of the motor is unknown. So my question to you is do I : 1-Mut the two together to make one extra nice classic? 2-Build one as a track car and leave one stock? 3-Scarp and sale them both and buy a modern suparu?
