  1. Hey everyone, I'm currently trying to replace the radiator on my 2006 B9 Tribeca and so I'm trying to get the old one out. I'm at the step where I need to remove the front bumper in order to get to the bolts that hold the AC condensor to the radiator. So I was following the service manual but was confused about how to actually get it off. I removed the 7 or so clips on the bottom of the bumper underneath, the 3 on top, the upper cover, and the 2 in the wheel wells. I also disconnected the foglamps. The step after that mentions something about a notch in the bumper face and I don't understand what the picture is showing exactly. I read somewhere else I should just be able to pull it starting at a corner but it seems like it's still attached to something. Wish I could understand the service manual picture, help on this would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hello new to the forum. Just over a month ago my wife and I bought a 2006 B9 Tribeca Limited. Anyways, the other day I noticed the engine was getting a little hotter than usual and checked the coolant reservoir and it was empty. I topped off the radiator fluid (had to add a lot it was quite empty) and after that it went back to normal temperature. When I got home I looked under the car to check for leaks and noticed the coolant was dripping from the splash guard. So I'm pretty sure it's the radiator as the bottom near the foam is wet, I'm renting a pressure testing kit just to verify exactly where the leak is coming from though. Anyways, I was looking online for a replacement radiator and I was wondering about any of these brands on rock auto: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1431876,parttype,2172 The Denso and TYC parts are pretty inexpensive (compared to auto parts stores which only have a radiator which costs around $257-350). Any other suggestions? I don't want to spend too much but I don't want to get something that's likely to fail again any time soon.
