About Me
I'm a guy in his late 60's, a father of a 32 year old daughter
I got into working on Subarus when I got my first one -- a '98 forester fixer that needed a timing belt and heads redone.
Since then I've bought and brought back to life a 2001 and 1998 Outback Limited wagon that needed engines, a '99 Forester that needed a tranny, a 2001 Outback Wagon that needed a motor (rod knock), a '94 SVX that needed a tranny, a '99 30th anniversary Legacy wagon that needed some TLC to get it running right, and a 2000 Forester X that needed a motor (rod knock). The 2000 Forester is my daily driver. and the SVX is a toy. The rest have been sold.
I support myself by being a jack-of-all trades that working as a handyman, commercial and prosumer espresso equipment repair and restoration, small and large appliance repair, computer repair, and buy subi "fixers" to repair and and either keep (if it's a step up) or sell.
Got into rebuilding Subi motors during the pandemic for some folks who reached out via referrals from satisfied customers.
I'm also into sailing, power boating, and singing.
