Check out this Justy. Rally it! -
The XT6 has a 3.9 in it. I love rallying the XT6:headbang: . Yeah EA81 rallying is the coolest. We found lots of gooooood corners for gravel rally. Plus my friend and I are pretty good rally drivers. I can't wait till we have two lifted wagons and two lifted hatches in town:banana: . Next time we go wheeling I give ya a call and you can go with us and film. Have you ever been to Fairy Lake in the bridger canyon? The road up to fairy lake is literally a professional gravel rally road. We could totally do some in car footage there. Fairy Lake road has also eaten two EA82 wagons now:eek: . Scary road.

I need to get some new shocks for the rear of my EA81 wagon. I was thinking some replacement ones would be good, but I have an idea. If I took the rear shock extensions from the 3in BYB lift off the rear shocks, couldn't I just get three inch bigger shocks then put them in the stock shock holes instead of using the extension? Which is better: Monroe:http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?mfrcode=MON&mfrpartnumber=5914&parttype=50&ptset=A KYB:http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?mfrcode=KYB&mfrpartnumber=343056&parttype=50&ptset=A The website says these KYBs will fit, but will they? Thanks

Thank You. I worked really hard on the editing to make it turn out right. The song is called flower by moby.

Yeah thanks. The real video is gonna be on a DVD and have lots of different stuff like commentaries and video parts with and without music.
-
O yeah! I love offroading and rallying and getting footage.

This is a teaser video I made of my subies and a friends suby. I took about a year of footage to get here. Remember this is just a teaser the real video wont be out for a while. I hope you enjoy it. Sorry about the resolution. IF you make the screen size a little smaller it looks much better. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4023138952178405606&q=subaru+teaser

Those rims are sweet. So how come you don't have an offroad suby yet. This could be it.

"Mountain Patrol" paint scheme idea
A DOG replied to A DOG's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Yeah that camo is sweet. I was thinking of having snow falling on the mountains or have a cloud around the top of one. Im trying to keep it real and not just go with a regular two tone or stripes. I like how my wagon is sky color because they call montana Big Sky country. Does anyone know how much the metallic flake paint is? -
"Mountain Patrol" paint scheme idea
A DOG replied to A DOG's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I love how its coming along. I did this in Photoshop. I would like to keep the stock paint color with a dark blue for the mountains. I was thinking about having the mountains go all the way to the back tail gate. But I like them on the doors. Any suggestions? -
That's a sweet wagon. Rockin Rims.

Mirror in the glove box...Rare???
A DOG replied to LiftedHatchSubie's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I got one in my 81 wagon. First time I've seen a mirror in the glove box. -
Thank You

Okay so I need all that stuff, but from what model suby to I get the stuff from?
-
What are all the parts you need to put rear disc breaks on an EA81 wagon? I need to know ALL the parts so my mechanic can piece together a rear disc set up for my wagon. Thanks
-
Very nice! Looks like it did good. No skid plate . better put one on if you go rock bashing. Looks like you have a bit of camber in the front:rolleyes: . Then again so do I. Do you plan on fixing the camber issue?

Any Suggestion? -
This summer I want to repaint the lifted wagon. I love the shiny blue stock paint, but the hood is really ugly. I would like to repaint just the hood and front fenders, but I think I might as well paint the whole thing. I love the color blue. I do want to do a two tone thing, maybe blue and black. So any suggestions or photoshops are very appriciated. I also am gonna start working on a subaru emblem of some kind. Something kinda like that emblem on the side of some hatch patrol suby. I went around the net looking for the pic. Its got an arm holding a suby axle and says something like "international subaru brothren." So i am working on something like that. So any pics of new paint jobs or suggestions on a paint scheme is very appriciated. This is what I have so far. I fixed the ugly hood and made it as close to the original color as possible. I really like the mountains with snow. It is the Mountain Patrol afterall. I like how the side of the car is coming along. I'll probably add a little suby wagon climbing up the side of the mountain. . For the hood Im gonna have my decal thing. I still want to add a few small details.
