  1. is the tail light in 92 uk legacys the same as US modles if so i have a set of tail lights that are yours for shipping....... let me know.... brian
  2. carful running it in 3wd after the diff is welded it makes the car handle differnt on any slick serface. just take it easy till you get how it will act figured out...
  3. the local shop uses a modifyed gascap that acseps an air chuck, then you just pump up the tank.(to aproprite levels depending on carb or FI) works awsoem and is an yeasy way to get a car into the shop that has a bad fuel pump...
  4. uh maybe 4:clap: good work andrew. the xt6 looks to be being driven right... i went:eek: when i saw the blue non lifted wagon go into the corn thought for shure he was going to run wide.... me thinks by the way your xt pushes it dosnt have an lsd in it.???? might be wrong dont know...... anyway you asked on another post and yes the red hatch will go up..... probably take. 2 munths to finish...... anyway great video.... if you need a had shoooting video i have a digivid and would love to help... maybe do some drift stlye video from the chais car......

  9. no the house or the trailer..... but the hatch:grin: 1987 GL ea81 4speed DR, runs good 75psi oil press and dosnt overheat..... needs a strut.(i know i know lift and tires:rolleyes:) anyway i use it to pull my work trailer dos a good job anyway i didnt think it was to bad for 100 bucks

  11. i think your suspension will be your short comings before you hurt the trany from running it to fast in 4wd. ive driven mine at 70+ in 4lo....
  12. nice to see someone is doing this ive wanted to build an electric suby and have looked into it for some time.. i belive that the measurement you want is from the motor mount to the trany serface.. anyway someone will have the measurements...
  13. yea not shure of the country it was orignaly imported to. we(us market) did get the ea82 MPFI (nontrubo) but only in 2wd that i know of i saw one in a salvage yard in SOCAL about 8 mounths ago and there are several on the board here...
  14. if you want to know if its just a drill and bolt deal go look at an sti and see how the seat rails mount ot the seat. on my imp seats the outside rail bolts on simualarly like the ea81 seats but the inside next to the trany tunnel bolts on from the side so you would have t o make an L shaped braket for the ea81 rails to bolt to and to move them over as the ea81 seats are much narrower......
  15. Im doing 97 imp seats right now and it looks like you have to completely make new brakets for the rails to bolt to.... i may look at legacy seats to see what there like........
  16. yea i have a 88 turbo wagon with the 4eat as well priviouse owner drove it till the drive shaft broke and tookout the trany...
  17. i have found what i think is the problem. (a burned trace from the transformer) at least all my bad ones look that way. im waiting to hear back from my cousin on the best method of fixing trace as it is very small and near some stuff i dont want to heet up.. .as for my cousins creds, he desings and build prototype secuit boards for a living... anyway ill let you know as progress continues...
  18. i had a 87gl wagon with 27s on it... rust was killing it and so i drove it like it was stolen. we never shifted before the valvs started floating we just floord it and when it start running out of power then we shifted anyway the car lasted 10,000 miles driving like this before the center mount for the drivline ripped out and left me as a two wheel drive. i gave the car away. it was promptly fliped end for end. and the motor now lives in an 86 wagon. that was 4 years ago and the car is still running around. with over 200k on the motor....
  19. HI all, i working with my cussin on fixing burned up digi dashes. focusing on ea81 cars. (as there are lots of ea82 digis out there) anyway i have 1 good dash and several burned up ones.... here are my plans one i need burned up dige dashes (if you have one let me know) two is to see if they are all tost in the same area(i have a suspision) third is to send one to my cussin (electrical enginer)(yea i know spelling:rolleyes:)for him to check out and get his opion. then repair the dashes i have and make a printed copy of a how to to fix them. the cost in the end Free to anyone with email... a little money if im going to fix your dash... anyway all coments, help or info would be greatly apreshated.....
  20. just wondering where to find the board member that makes the 5speed crossmembers for the ea81 5dr swaps. anyway thanks ps i did try the search func but came up empty.
  21. me also... i may be able to get you some wiring harneses so you can stock up... improve your turnaround time or what not... i wreck out a legacy now and then and have 3 or 4 coming up... let me know anyway ill be hitting you up for one of these and i think the prices is more then fair...
