  1. The noise was coming from the driveshaft. Thanks for your suggestions and sorry for the delay. I have another addition to the family, a 1992 Loyale Sedan FWD that I have been driving instead of my wagon. Donut
  2. I will, I made another video on the way home from work. I am off the next couple of days so I can try to troubleshoot. Thanks for the help with the video. it worked!!! I will let you know if I find anything. I checked the front diff and tranny, both are full of fluids. I will check the rear diff fluid level tomorrow as well as put the car on stands and check for noises.
  3. I replaced the front wheel bears and I am starting to believe that the rears may be bad. The noise goes away when I engage 4wd. It sounds like I'm dragging an aluminum bat across the concrete. Has anyone had similar noises? Sorry, I'm dumb and can't embed...
  4. I'm glad somebody is having the same problem, I've been trying to find the fix but I haven't been successful. 4wd engages so I assume I have good vacuum. I've been in the middle of front bearing replacement so I haven't driven it or farted with it lately. I'll let you know if I find the problem. Edit: Dave T will you please elaborate on your fix?
  5. Marcus drilled my hubs, was always easy to get a hold of, and answered my dumb questions. The new holes fit the studs well and he did a great job. Thanks for the work Marcus, Donut
  6. Received my lift kit quickly. Very happy with the service and quality of the lift. Will be installing when I get a free weekend.
  7. Does any know Marcus personally? Is he still machining parts?
  8. Plenty of wrx's around. I have yet to see a running and driving l series in Texas. I'm glad there's at least one more.
  9. Picked up this clean wagon a couple of months back and I have finally made the time to get it right. The engine is out and heads were sent off for cleaning after a HG fail. I appreciate this board for all of the collective information. I plan on a mild lift, six inch lug, and 90's 4 runner wheels to follow.
