  2. met northwet today he drove prolly close to 3 hours give or take down to longview to pick up my semi inibriated self drive anothe half hour to go get my wagon and tow it home on a tow dolly thing another half hourish back drop it off and help me push it in the drive way and asked pretty much nothing in return i feel there really is no way i can repay him but i will try just wanted to say thanks and have a good trip home and thanks to jason aka bajavwsoobnut who helped me attempt to fix the dam thing the first night it broke down or was it second hmm.. eitehr way due to parts problems it never happened but i must give thanks to him for his valient effort as well well time to finish my and head to bed thanks to the both of you now its home and i can work on it you both know what ya need from me in return and lemme know i be there as soon as i can

  6. put copper hi temp antisieze when you put new one in and a box wrench should work just fine you never mentioned if it was turbo or not

  8. a dolly would be cool and had i had it here i would been done long time ago if i can get up there today to do it i have about 2 hours left of work to at least get it running well enough to get home and tehn do otehr things hmm better start looking for that center longer 4wd 5speed tranny driveline.. if it rains and lots of ash i will be driving ot work in "glop"
  9. gonna carry a few can's of compressed air used for cleaning computers to blow out my cone filter sinceits not a oiled one just a close weave type a few blasts and bangs on the fender and it should be good

  11. well here is new stuff added to the msnedis code btw both dual 12x12 fuel and ignition maps can be changed over on the fly so one set of maps for putzing around and one for raceing ect or one set can be used for off boost and the second one can come in on boost the switching is activated by a pin of the processor it then changes maps so you could use a simple switch to change over for street/race or my idea that a circuit is being made up for is to use a throttle switch that activates at about 70-80 percent throttle that run a small timer circuit that keeps the map changed over for say 5 min or so after the throttle closes so its still changed over the timer would reset each time the throttle was opened far enough or you blipped it to activate it then when the "fun time" was over with and you cruisng around town normally it goes back to regular maps until that switch trips again.. just a idea or a pressure switch can be used to use one set of maps for off bosst and then at 1 psi it will change over the map to the on boost maps jsut odd idea's based on this new stuff that can be done but here is the list of nifty stuff THIS IS A BETA TEST RELEASE Features This code is built on the v2.986 Megasquirt code so has all those features plus: Dual 12x12 fuel tables DualTable code Roger Enns' injector staging code Dual 12x12 spark tables Distributor (this cylinder) or EDIS spark control Dual EDIS control (e.g. 2 EDIS4 modules on a V8) UNTESTED Rev limiter Launch control Overboost protection Boost control UNTESTED Water injection control Dual EGO sensor support (can run ego correction per cylinder bank) PWM idle for use with variable valves Nitrous control (min rpm, new timing map or fixed retard) Supports even-fire 2 stroke 1,2,3,4 cyl engines and even-fire 4 stroke 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,10,12,16 cyl A crank decoder for the Dodge Neon is included and has been driven.   13. well its taken almost 3-4 weeks to do a simple tranny swap... car 30 miles away can only work on it on nights off wrong parts.. assorted otehr things so yeah.. i suspect someone is mad asomewhere

  15. well if the injectors are the same size at ea82t you just change the number of cylinders and engine size in req fuel and adjust the number of squirts and my map should get ya running anyways and you can go from there oh yeah got motor and tranny in going backa fter a bit today to hopefuly bring it home after a few hours more work
  16. well i have msnedis running in my 87 gl-10 turbo so if ya wanna run it .. i have most of the hard parts figured out and base fuel and timing maps to start you out with ... word of warning.. don't try it on a automatic.. mine did not take to kindly to the better hp? torque? or just flat out coincedence maybe
  17. 230k before 3at blew out about 25 or so mpg who knows what i get when i get teh 5speed finished and finally get to tune my fuel maps hmmm maybe i iwll try for 30-35 mpg as my off boost cruise goal..
  18. what northwet is talking about is cowl induction it works well with the ride setup the low pressure are a at the base of the windowwill force air into what ever it can.. go take apeek at the factory camaro and other version of cowl induction with the "reverse" scoop used for it it also keeps the water and junk away from the filter usually now if someone had the time "wish i did" to fab u[ a fiberglass intercooler scoop and then behind it also a cowl induction setup for the air filter that would be a good setup if i can find the time and money i will do that plus add extra fiberglass material so i can put my boost gauge and other need to know info up there i nmy line of sight btw search for like cowl induction theory or operation or you can borrow some of the "old school" books i have

  21. ... still got that mpfi cross ram for 2.8 v6 hehe oh and a 5 speed that will bolt to it err i think its 5speed need to wash teh gunk off for a tranny id thing but its off a 4wd .. so hmm wait .. go get a full time transfer case and run a ifs front end .. have awd mini truk .. great for dragging.. hhehe
