thats kinda what i was thinking snotrocket.. yeah there are turbo setups with the maf after the turbo .... but not on stock ea82t subaru's i would rather run rich than try a atari paddle looking thing and lean out on a turbo... -

what warp3 said and yes any fuel injected maf sensor suby has a iat its just incorporated into the maf.. wich sadly on turbo's does not account for the air temp after the turbo wich can get quite hi at times -
hell i don't really know anyone from here met a few so don't feel to bad hey anyone have a idea how the weather is gonna be..?? this rain stuff sucks

oddcomp replied to JonOfScio's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
oh you would go the carb way huh... then if your thinking of the supercharger thats on teh thunderchickens and the bonneviles you will need a sidedraft carb then since the air intake on that style is actually in the back of the s/c and there is normally a throttle body there not sure how well the seals on that type of unit would hold up to fuel/air mix what your wanting would be a gmc 471 type of blower 471 being 4 cyl 671 6cyl 871 8 cyl ect ect -

well got the pulley pinned timing light shows the edis running at base timing of 12-14 deg good enough for me as i can tune it to where it should be now and its close enough to the recommended 10 deg setting gonna go put the alt/powersteering pump belt on now and try and adjust the timing with the computer and go for a short joy ride i hope some of you appriciate this as i am currently working under a leaky tarp in the rain ! since all the sunshine has vanished.. of course i had sun when things where not going right... go figure.. i hope 4 1/8th inch pins are enough to combat the slipping at least until i can get a new pulley "thanks baja" well back with i hope good news i hope it works well enough to get to the mini mart.. outta beer
