  1. i.. don't run premium... of course its best to run premium but costs more than i can afford.. but i also have more than stock engine management also so that might be part of it
  2. run multiple grounds in addition to the correct place it does help
  3. my 87 turbo is just shy of 230,000 miles if that gives you any idea reliability and i put 50 miles a night on it combined to and from work
  4. well to and from work a few times and to and from wcss6 welllll over 300 miles on it now no problems out side of getting the timing maps tuned on to the fuel side!
  5. that was one of the best ways i have ever started out a vacation thanks guys buy you can keep the sun burn
  6. not worried bout traffic.. just getting lost
  7. i really hope i don't get lost between leaving work in the morning from st'helens to hood river... that would suck alot
  8. interesting .. odd but interesting... looks like a hot rodded yugo almost lol
  9. your forgetting a rare source... maserati bi turbo's with carb it is in fact a weber 2 barrel non progressive plus it also has a "air box" if you wanted to snag that as well and make a carbed turbo sube
  10. thats kinda what i was thinking snotrocket.. yeah there are turbo setups with the maf after the turbo .... but not on stock ea82t subaru's i would rather run rich than try a atari paddle looking thing and lean out on a turbo...
  11. humidity.. very bad.. when you work graveyard shift in a dry ice plant.... water everywhere everything freezing up ugh .. been a bad last few days before vacation starts on the 27th plus the rain ahs been keeping me from doing mroe stuff to show off at wcss on the suby.. oh well its good news bout the weather.. i will bring my heavy coat.. after all it is the pacific northwest
  12. what warp3 said and yes any fuel injected maf sensor suby has a iat its just incorporated into the maf.. wich sadly on turbo's does not account for the air temp after the turbo wich can get quite hi at times
  13. hell i don't really know anyone from here met a few so don't feel to bad hey anyone have a idea how the weather is gonna be..?? this rain stuff sucks
  14. i'll be the silverish wagon with white rims and red wipers with claws on the hood lowerd in the front .. prolly sleeping haha and with 2 big coolers in the back .. so my back might even sit lower than the front.. hmmm
  15. speaking of dreams.. i used to work in a lumber mill.. one night i pushed my wife out of bed and said get out the place is falling apart get out.... she still teases me about it occasionally.. i just tell her hey i was just concerned for your safety
  16. the one plus for a auto... much easier to do a power brake to build boost and then let off and spin tires
  17. i suspect you potentially have.. issue's... i recommend many antipsychotics hehe
  18. same here.. i think calebz has a vauge idea of what i ahve laying around.. lol
  19. i ran many extra grounds and added a chevy alternator for fun .. maybe something to think about?
  20. bad thing about supercharging.. they hate backfires and break stuff and now that i actually think about it i guess id did forget the plunum thingy comes off ..oops
  21. hey whats wrong with a automatic turbo... mine is auto... but only untill i can change that
  22. oh you would go the carb way huh... then if your thinking of the supercharger thats on teh thunderchickens and the bonneviles you will need a sidedraft carb then since the air intake on that style is actually in the back of the s/c and there is normally a throttle body there not sure how well the seals on that type of unit would hold up to fuel/air mix what your wanting would be a gmc 471 type of blower 471 being 4 cyl 671 6cyl 871 8 cyl ect ect
  23. hmm i had a long thing typed but due to more stupidity oops but short version it works it works well its adjustable and it works and the pins held under alot of beating i intentionally inflicted on it so it works yay now to tune
  24. well since i finally hooked up the correct wire.. don't ask.. the megasquirt can now control the timing off for a joy ride woot
  25. well got the pulley pinned timing light shows the edis running at base timing of 12-14 deg good enough for me as i can tune it to where it should be now and its close enough to the recommended 10 deg setting gonna go put the alt/powersteering pump belt on now and try and adjust the timing with the computer and go for a short joy ride i hope some of you appriciate this as i am currently working under a leaky tarp in the rain ! since all the sunshine has vanished.. of course i had sun when things where not going right... go figure.. i hope 4 1/8th inch pins are enough to combat the slipping at least until i can get a new pulley "thanks baja" well back with i hope good news i hope it works well enough to get to the mini mart.. outta beer
