just a silly idea that occured for anyone else wanting this mod i mentioned bronco springs erlier up has anyone thought of the progressive springs founf on some truks?? cut them down to fit and for normal highway driving they have some give to them for agressive driving / offroad once the spring compresses a certain amount it gets much stiffer... just a idea..

perhaps have someone tig weld teh fittings on the fuel rails or even mig if they have the right stuff to weld aluminum try making new rails out of stainless or some other harder material than aluminum it will hold the threads better and seal better -
well thanx

well engine and what ever drive train i need will be from my turbo wagon so i will eitehr need a 5speed 4wd tranny or go with my second insane idea of adapting a 700r4 auto to a ea82t and maybe using the solid rear out of my eagle sx/4 and the ifs front end as well... thats like lots of work and stuff.. so at least for now the easier the better and more likely i can afford to do it <reviews how the chevy s-10 ifs is setup>... i also thought of maybe a toyota ifs so i could unlock the front end but ehh thats all pipe dream stuff... plus i have not dug into how they are built ..yet... good thing i love to read car manuals haha ps nothing says brute force like pushing a chevy s-10 blazer down your gravel driveway turning it and pushing it back up the same driveway to make room for a sube while the neibhors stand and watch lol well off to go drag it home.. i think it has 2 pugs on it also -
while drivng down a road i see a guy working on a hatch with a ea82 wagon in front of it .. i stop ask him if he owns teh wagon he says yes i ask if he wants to get rid of it he says yeah i was just gonna push it out on the side of the road so it got towed off... i peek under the hood it has a ea81engine with 5speed 2wd tranny swapped in place of the ea82 the blocks cracked but he want the motor back the car and tranny i can have i go back for it later 2 day so now my hacked up wagon project has a body now how hard is it to add 4wd to a 2wd wagon i mean besides the rear diff and rear sway arms? i will get pics once i get it here i better go clean out the garage to go hide it in there so the mother in law can't see it !!! cool i may have something nifty to show at wcss hmm i also better go get some sawzall blades also ..

i have one or 2 nice tight copper 90's in the 2" range in you have some straight hose pieces to attach to it prolly not what your looking for -
here is a lesson i have learned owning various cars and using various forums for help on said cars chances are the more expensive or fancy the car.. the more rude and unhelpful the people who own them will be not always true but usually

if austins busy and you can make it down to longview i would do em hell i may even be able to go up there and do em way far much cheaper than the tires dorks email msn or whatever only if austin has his hands full that is don't wanna take work from someone

mid-engine soob buggy? Thoughts comments

just suggestion.... v drive take your 2wd tranny and motor mount it in the middle straight not sideways like your thinking get a v drive unit run tranny to vdrive then vdrive to eitehr a chain box <go look up monster truck setups for what a chain drive is> or a regular transfer case so now all your weight is centered instead of off to one side and the engine is still mid mounted v drives are used in boats but can be adapted to cars i think they make one for auto use.. i saw it on monster garage .. and teh chain boxes well i looked and could not find tehm maybe i am thinking of a diffrent name its essentially a a bit bigger than a shoe box with a input up high and dual outputs down low driven by a a thick heavy chain just like a regular transfer case but with single gear range some do have the ability to shift in and out of 4wd i think if they are good enough to run 66" tires and a few thousand horse power then it might be good enough for a sube... you could also easily make your own oh yeah there is not differential in teh center of teh chain box but i spose if your making your own you could adapt a lsd setup to it pretty easy .. hmmm -

i may be able to sneak/borrow a decent sized rolling cooler from work .. to give you a idea fully loaded one weighs about 900 lbs .. depending on how we pack the ice in it unloaded its 110-130 think it would be big enough to keep things cold? -

sweet hmm now that i now how it looks after work i am more determined than ever to dig up the change for a old wagon and to a extended cab version with a turbo motor
-
expensive i think not go to a car stero shop buy about 5 or so foo t of 10 gauge amplifier ground wire find anice piece of sheeet metal run a line from the battery to it and the extra motor grounds to that point as well grounds out the body and th engine may not look as pretty as gold plated crap from a kit but much more affordable and it works not o mention the whole i did it myself aspect
-
sweet i got a lot of em really like 4 or 5 i think i even have one of the old tamiya bruiser's well most of one.. dam i want to get that running with the transfer case and all hey if ya wana talk more r/c get me on msn oddballcomp@hotmail.com anyother chat thingy is just oddcomp don't wanna polute this thread too much

motor and tranny mounts mine does the same thing has a real nifty thud when i downshift the auto into first even at 5-10 mph and before i changed out a crapped cv joint it also pulled hard under power i suspect it was caused by the cv binding and sending more power to the other side of the diff... all theory of course

ah well the moon roof is the reason i don't wanna cut up my turbo wagon just gonna use the motor out of it it put all the roll bar and stuff back farther than i want it if i still want to be able to use the moon roof and if i take it out well thats one more area i gotta sheet metal over
