  1. thats really funny since trannys run at higher line pressure from what i am read on how auto trannys work usually the tranny units and the oil cooler units are pretty much the same stuff you get out of a jegs or other perfomance catalog is usually universal unless specified just look at the psi rating on the coolers if its good for over 50 you should be ok i mean lets face it how many have seen soob pressure over 40? or even 30 hehe

  3. yeah i already figured into the structual integrity and have figured out a part inter rollcage/braceing that ties into a external roll bar /brace for the back half

  8. a resonator is just what i sounds like the length and size of the chamber change the resonating frequency <the air vibrations> so its usually softer more burbly sounding instead of sounding like a pissed off chain saw lol either leave it on or off it really does not have a lot of affect on exhaust restriction for more of a idea go look into speaker box port tuning same idea sorta diffrent size vents help cancel out unwanted frequency and tune so others are more pronounced but thats from what i know of it so i may be wayy off base here
  9. might i suggest one or more valves stuck? or oh wait.. check the idle air control solenoid it may be stuck open or the ps sensor may need readjusted the ecu may be thinking that the throttle is open farther than it really is causing it to run like crap..
  10. perhaps machine the pulley a little bigger to give the alternator a few more rpms so it charges better at idle??
  11. if you want dual spfi ditch the maf and go with a megasquirt ecu so you can at least tune the fuel delivery
  12. i have some nice 2" or is it 2.5" copper pipe and elbows i am going to replace that obstructive aluminum 4wd turbo thingy with may even get to it this week ... i too have the airbox mod and it made a difference that i noticed
  13. drop that piece of nasty into the back of a brat with a hefty trany and a v-drive connected to a 9 inch rear end toss a shell over it and go cruising for suckers
  14. mine is not a newer model its a 87 gl-10 turbo but i had the same hesitation problem it went away after i regrounded the engine so all the sensors and ignition had the proper grounding .. maybe somethign to look into maybe not
  15. i may be wrong but i would think if all he is changing is the differential gearset and got the shims corect that it "should" work

  17. is it me or does the close up with calebz make the girls faces look way out of proportion to their heads?? wierd i dunno who the model is in the middle but dam they need to fire him/it hehe
  18. injector wiring matter not on these motors all 4 injectors fire at once in fact most injected vehicles un less sequentially fired they all fire at the same time if its way far far out of time it may not even randomly catch or backfire what color is the spark? under compression it does change the amount of voltage to create a spark .. if its orangish color get a new coil or plug wire check that the plu wires are on the cap in the correct order i am sure you have done that but hell i have gotten it mixed up too hmm i know i am forgetting something .. ps the hard drive and powersteering work fine
  19. look into a oil cooler that plumbs into the cooling system then run that into a air to air cooler or get a bigger oil cooler that has a fan on it for traffic situations
  20. yeah some driveshafts will cause vibration problems at certain speeds take bolth shafts out and have a driveline shop test them bolth i saw a recent article on driveline vibrations thats how i know
