  1. so um yeah this is the beast i been arguing with for a long time to get together one 1985 suby rx clicky here for pic with this hiding under the hood "clicky again" whats in the picture? ford edis coil pack <yay no disty> 8.8 mm accel spiral core plug wires chevy alternator ford thunderbird intercooler maserati bi turbo intercooler piping <the chrome pipes> dodge turbo minivan intercooler rubber hose stuff off the wife's van..shhhhh blue silly cone diesel radiator hose ssqv blow off valve <added a second bov from the minivan before the intercooler> since it seems my ssqv does not like to vent below 2-3 psi plus since the dodge one hangs open it allows the turbo to kinda prespool <little to no resistance against the turbo with the bov hanging open > and yes.. its sposed to hang open i am skipping the apc in this setup i think and just going straight to letting the megasquirt run the boost / knock sensing since i asked for some code mods to be done that makes the ms work just like the apc but with more features i still have to build my knock sense cicuit for the ms to run ignition/boost management in the event of detonation problems <bad gas to much boost to much advance ect ect> for a idea of what all the new code for the ms box can do go clicky here so whats next to do?? well fix my wasted shifter bushing <the hardest ones to change of course> change out my exhaust get rid of the craptastic stock setup fix bent strut build my liquid c0-2 intercooler sprayer and then go from there oops forgot thanks noah for the pic thanks to jason,shadow,northwet,garner,lstintexas for all the help

  3. hmm local schucks here i can get a online price save teh webpage on my laptop walk in and say match or beat this "open laptop show page" and they say ok! but then again i am sucha regular and know most of the people so that may have something to do with it

  7. i have always suspected that a properly jetted 390 cfm holley would work well did you mess with the secondary springs at all ??
  8. well as of now i have over 300 miles on the squirted and dis'd rx in a bit after it cools down some more outside i am gonna go reprogram my ms box with the latestest and greatest code released so i i will have all of the following options to play with http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/index.html

  10. i found a good tps in my pile o stuff got my scoop on gonna take a shower and head out and see if it wants to carry me to wcss
  11. well i just went on a nice cruise no hood scoop but i iced downt he intercooler with dry ice.. works well hehehe apc is not hooked up so only seeing 5 psi actualy less now that i think about the wastegate line being connected before the intercooelr it pulls nicely scared a few mexicans with the ssqv gonna put my wagon tires on it either tonight or in the morning not sure of the scoop damm i am soo tired all day in the sun fighting with it oh and i popped that pesky line thats under the intake.. thankfullly it the xt intake

  13. it figures.. go outside to plug the tablet in to the ms to see if maybe the settings got corrupted from the tps being messed up and the ppower plug breaks off the side of the case
  14. well i got money to pay for gas i can't seem to keep it running now.. so i am cornfused
  15. i odn't mean this to sound smart assy but .. how do you propose i do that? stand on the freeway shoulder with a sign that sez wcss or bust? tried reverse tps wires seems to do the same on the one tps and pat.. thats a hell of a long ways to go just to drag my rx to the show.. i suspect my confusion has to do with being up for 28 or so hours yesterday 8 of wich at work and the rest arguing with the car finally crashed at about 10 last night
  16. tps problem as in ms thinks its wide open at closed throttle and vice versa found another tps not sure if it works or not waiting for the battery to charge incase thats part of my not staying running problem and how do you propose i afford to tow it to wcss and back?

  19. looks like i may have killed my megasquirt by trying to fix a tps problem i had the dam thing running and everything just had to get teh tps fixed.. i am so tired of working on things only to always have it go wrong anyways to hot tired and depressed to try and fix it so screw it
  20. seems the tps i was using for my orginal measquirt install has shorted out and is very useless now its all thats holding me up on making the rx run so i have the old one from the 85 rx but i need the pinouts for it what color wires are ground signal and +volt its a 3 wire unit no idle/wot switch otherwise everything else is all wired up in teh rx and seems to check out just need a good tps to put on it so i can start it up also need to know wich wires under the hood at the connector are for the oil psi gauge and the temp gauge plus how the tach is triggered
  21. hey for information the intake air temp on my megasquirt shows me at 220F degree's when i had no intercooler @ 10 psi wonder how much my intercoler will drop the temp
