    I've decided to take some time to show my husband I can get things done that he might not expect. I have tasked myself with replacing the head gaskets on his Subaru for him as a surprise. Hopefully I can complete my task by Christmas.

  1. So far so good. Radiator is out in take has been removed and alternator is out. Slow and steady will get this car fixed:)
  2. Tomorrow is the big day. I will begin by removing the radiator to make more space. Pictures and notes to follow.
  3. Will do! I'm taking this weekend to got familiar with the car and collect all tools and parts I will need. Thanks for the tape tip! That's a great idea!
  4. Okay, I will watch videos today and check out amazon for a timing belt kit. Updates to follow..
  5. I'm changing head gaskets on my husbands Subaru Forester 04. Any tips on how to do it or make it easier? I am not going to pull it, it will remain in the car.. I don't have a stand. Thanks!
