  1. Yeah, those alloy pugs are nice, but not avalibal in Australia, and obviously not in Norway (the place the guy lives who gave me this link.) I thought those wheels were also very hard to come by these days? I know these aren't ideal. But it shows you that there is such thing as other after market options then the ones we already have. I'm still sold on the Performance Superlites we can get here in Australia. But I was talking to a bloke who worked at CSA (a wheel company) who said really they could make any wheel just about any pattern. You just have to pay more and to direct to the company.
  2. Ahh.. you guys are too picky.. Maybe have a look at the other wheels those guys make?
  3. A member on my forum posted up this link to an Indonesian company. http://www.devino-roadconcepts.com/products-detail.php?ID=7&type_id=3&PHPSESSID=274c34bed2e095a5457c91827896a13d The wheels look good, but I'm not sure on the offset they give for the 4x140pcd... Just thought some of you might be interested to see this.
  4. I remember seeing that when I frist joined.. good stuff haha

    Mudding!

It is home made.. We installed an adapter to the carb to turn it 90degrees and into a 60mm hose. Then put a Legacy air box in and and drilled a hole through the fender and plumbed it in to the air box. Using 2" round fence post we cut angles (no pipe bender at that time, got one now) and welded it together. Welded some tabs on and bolted it to the A pillar. He then had to cover every connection, plug lead, disty etc in silicone to stop the water stalling the engine. But in the end worked quite well.
  6. Looks like it needs some antisway bars and new shockers...? Nice little track setup there. Lots of fun rallycross in these subies

Should take my Brothers locked up 4runner with the 35" Micky T's... Just have to get him to have a good amount of time off work..

Cheers mate. Good to get some photos on here of Tassie. I'd love to make a trip down there next time I have a rego'd 4wd.
  9. I'd be interested to see how his hooked up things like gear linkage, throttle, clutch, etc.
  10. See it was different with me. I wanted my car to be gone, I don't want to see it or know what happens to it.

River side offroading... We were seeing how far into the river we could drive... And on the back roads around my place.

    Mudding!

I'm in the mood to look at pictures and videos of Subarus in Mud. Seems this forum is moving along slowly (IMO) lets post up some pics and videos of Subarus in mud! I'm going to start off with a video of a mates 88wagon. Please join in!
  14. Mine were stuck pretty bad, then I drove in 4WD on the road for a while (about 2000km all up) and they were loose. So if you've got a welded diff in the back I'd say some thrashing for a couple of days will get them off for you. Anti-seize +1
  15. Yeah. I looked at one of those 914's at a rally event last year. Pretty nice for a Porsche. Would go nicely with a EJ20g or EZ30..
  16. I've thought of doing that last year.. Good way to get 3.x /4.x low range. But the gearbox would be pretty weak. Still, with the weight like that. Nice buggy build too, I've just completed my pipe bender so I'll be making some cages for cars and buggys soon.
  17. Not that I'm trying to get away from breaking, its just when your only car breaks (I can only afford to keep one car on the road) it is a bit much. Last time I took it out, I had to leave it (300km away). Not fun. If I can get a reliable nice car that can tow, then I can smash anything else up and not worry.
  18. Still not missing it much. I guess I've got a lot of other things to think about. I've had a couple of people tell me they almost cried watching that slide show. When I made it I started off trying to not make it emotional. But about 20seconds into it I started writing emotional things. Just happened. I've gone and done a really stupid thing now and bought a very expensive laptop with a lot of what I got for it. But Still have enough dough for another car when I figure out what to buy. For offroad I think I'm just going to stick with the trailer rigs/buggies for a bit. I really did get fed up with fixing broken stuff all the time.
  19. It always feels good doing it yourself. Theres lifts on the markets for the people who just want one. But for the other few at least we can do it ourselves. You going to reinforce those 2x3x2" pieces? Don't want them just folding over.
