Can anyone help me figure out how to implement the use of the circuit breaker Fairtax mentions A synopsis of exactly how I would wire this from beginning to end would be very helpful....thanks! (PS...if we these "circuit breakers" are in the box under to hood behind battery,,,, I do have a parts car to steal one from)

My cousin called me...he works at a dealership (not Subaru) They gave a kid $800 trade in for his 05 legacy GT Young kid so he must have blown something....a rod...? the turbo? I don't know So...I just got some pics...looks pretty clean--waiting to hear the mileage...automatic I can have it for $800 supposedly has a new exhaust system The caveat? Its 2 hours away Would have to get my AAA towing club to bring it to me I really wish it was a plain 2.5 engine though.....getting one if needed would be a lot easier Any thoughts guys? It really looks sweet

thanks guys The other question is that this new seat is power and the old is not Could I just run power from somewhere to the hot terminal of the connector under the seat and run a wire from the other terminal to a screw I put into the car body? should work right I was really hoping the heated seat worked but I seemed to get nothing before I removed the seat

I have a lead on craigslist for a 95 Legacy L It's a girl and its 1:45 mins away so I cant really ask this ... Did they ONLY make the 2.2L that year? That's all I want...I don't want the 2.5 I have a 96 legacy sedan(L) with the 2.2 From what I recall, the 95 did not?? have the egr pipe and the 96 does?? Is it possible if I ever needed to ...to drop the 96 into the 95 I DO NEED it to pass NY state emissions thanks guys

This is my son's car. I CAN see some wetness under the tank....not sure yet if it is the tank seam and need to replace it or where it is coming from What I can't figure out is why it should smell INSIDE the car Do you guys have any insight on this? Could there be an inside issue as well? where? thanks

From what I remember....to get this car higher off the ground I could use the struts and springs out of a 98-2002 forester Can a few of you experienced guys confirm? I can't stand how low this car is.....and it's worth keeping with 140k and a beautiful body Would I need to have the frt end aligned again if I do the front? Any special tools or tricks involved? thanks very much

I have not driven this all winter....Has had chk eng light on for a long time and I am positive it was a code 34 which is the egr valve or circuit I hooked up the battery this weekend as I want to sell it (has 54,000 original miles and nice shape) I was getting 7 flashes with a pause and the same 7 flashes over and over again There is nothing that shows 7 flashes Can someone remind me of what connectors have to be hooked...it is under the dash up behind the ecm right>? (black?) Can the code be cleared without fixing it? to see how soon it may come back? I am thinking no If I get a new egr solenoid....how do I clear the codes then? More importantly....can this egr solenoid cause any rough running condition?? It runs good but not 100% right...mild stumble of the engine Note that I have the egr valve off and a metal plate sealing off the opening --used RTV to seal it....and hose is capped off thanks

Hey men Whats the procedure for checking for a code? It's been a long time I recall a connector under the dash...that's all I think my problem is going to be and ecr solenoid (checked it 2 years ago and want to try and fix it before I sell it) this baby has 54,000 original miles,,,,,interior is like new...body nice

so ...for my 95 legacy.....use 98-02 forester struts...and will this allow me to upgrade to 15" wheels?...maybe 205 or 215/70/15? I don't want to buy wheel spacers...they aint cheap I really would love new struts and springs but that a lot of bucks How much are cheap springs And can someone tell me where Nipper is???

ok guys...been trying to follow this but What is "SG" and "SF" mean??? FOr my 95 legacy...which seems to be a little lower in the back (not level when looking from the side).....I would like the most lift in front and in back that's possible Does this mean 98-00 forester fronts and 03-08 foresters in rear? not sure if I got it right I want to put 15" wheels on it when done thanks

I had some comments recently about using forester or OB struts to raise this car....I despise it being so low Someone said strut assy's from 96-99 OB would fit....and 98-2002 foresters someone also said that 03 to 08 foresters would fit too here is what I found from an online dealer parts site the 96-98 OB calls for Subaru SOA20311AC200 the 99 OB ........a20311AC220 Forester calls for 98-2000 SOA 20310FC020 2001-02 20310FC040 03-05 20310SA009L OR....20310SA0419L....depending on V.I.N. 2006 20310SA1009L 2007-08 20310SA189L Lots of different PNs if they will all fit my 95 legacy...? I want to look for a decent set (front and back) but why are there so many PN's if they are all interchangeable with my plain legacy?? I don't want to get parts that don't fit thanks PS.....is Nipper still around???

95 legacy started car...stepped on brake and auto shift lever was locked in park I remembered that there is usually an access hole with an override button Popped the face plate and shoved a pencil in and I was on my way whats this switch called? its not the neutral safety switch..... how much are these? is there an aftermarket? but here's a weird thing......as soon as I got going, I noticed that neither directional was working theres no relationship with the above problem right? Is there one of those round can-like relays under the dash for the directional? How do I find it and whats it called? thanks gents

ok...well I'm a little confused How about this? Since the fuse is now in...and I have FWD with NO TB...this would be my standard mode that I want to be in Now...in the winter, during a storm...I want to flip a switch to go to AWD Pulling the fuse would accomplish it but I don't want to open the hood Couldn't I just cut both wires going to the firewall fuse holder....run both to the dash to a switch.. in the open mode of the switch I have AWD with TB....who cares if its slippery outside... In the closed mode I have FWD with TB Isn't this way easier?
