  3. Ive never tuned any of my entennas , I had a Ham guy set up the wire for me and he told me not to shorten it as it would effect the reception, the longer the antenna the better reception I have found, I have a antenna as you do on one of our cars and its the worst one Ive used, I like the 4-5' stick I have on the other car, SJR
  4. Next week I get a new car its a 92 Legacy Sedan 4 dr with 5 speed , its going to be lifted 4" with the lift at the bottom of the stock strut , now I have a few ?? length wise whats all the strut options for the EJ , say stock legacy , outback and others, ?

  13. new thought, remove the stock transaxle and in its place back enough to allow the diff up in there hookup a transverse front wheel drive transaxle , weld up the diff spider gears in that transaxle and thats were the reduction would be it would be about a 4 to 1 as apposed to the 1.6 to 1 stock would be light and compact but require some big time machine work to hook it all up, or slip it in behind the stock transaxle for even lower gears, did I loose you??
  14. this plate was designed using the stock Subaru housings for a templete, done on my Mill with a digital readout, the dowel alignment holes are built into the plate, 2 large and 2 small you can see them at the sides in the picture, the holes are there its up to the installer if they choose to use them or not, you will need the 4 stock dowels from both EJ and EA housings, SJR
  15. $150 for converted Manifold,as seen in picture,(comes with 2 blockoff plates and the adapter welded in place ready to install ), need your manifold for exchange, SJR
  16. OK this is my next project, I would like to see a 4" extension on the bottom utilizing the stock strut , anyone done that??
  17. Wow let me say that again . .. WOW !! installed the 2nd version of the Adapter and what a difference the first one was easier to install , thats why I did it that way, the design was to restrictive and blunt, the second one which Im now going to offer for sale opens up and has a smooth transision, you can see in this next picture the difference down the throat, also as a added benifit it sits about 1 Inch lower had to take it out and test it and boy do I like this car , took it offroad and its got some lowend grunt what a difference from the stock EA82s Ive been running , now to work out the details and make a list of all the stuff required for this conversion, SJR
