  1. Im runnibg a complete transmission with transfercase behind the stock subaru trans, in this rig, has very low gears,
  2. spent a few days at sandlake, me with my Turbo EA82 and Mosiah with his EA81 Wagon, hope you enjoy the pictures

  8. 3 years ago I picked up my first Subaru free, no one else in the family had one, now I have 10 I think , my wife drives a legacy I drive a EA82 Wagon, got a few lifted offroad built ones, have made many good friends though this board, make lift parts for offroad, my mom now has a Subaru , so does my brother and my sister in law, my nephew had one but let it die , so if your going to get into it be ready for it to spread, almost like a disease , and make room for those spare cars that will show up, SJR
  9. for off road mud and such they are the best, yes softer then most street tires, Ive never compared to kumhos , they are the softest tire Ive owned,
  10. for offroad its a problen, loss of flex

I personally would stay away from EA81 axles seen to many break, If I was going to do that much work would start wuith a complete EJ22 car use all the running gear with engine , will have to be creative on the struts to get tire clearance , Dont go to big or wide a tire and the axles should survive, at minimun use the strongest axles you can get, (EJ)
  12. \\I had Monstaru (Brian, ask him about him taking his dodge through the mudhole:grin: ) with me I went up the ruts but gave it up as the engine was all wet running bad,did you ever make it all the way to the top? PM me your addy and I will send out a copy, within a few weeks SJR
  13. thanks for the vid, I attempted that same hill ,it was after the waterhole and I gave up as my engine was cutting out from wet disty, I have a video of you and your Hatch Rob motor boating through the mud hole will eventually get you a copy SJR
  14. Tigard on 99W had 1 ea81 Hatch and 6 or so ea82 wagons a week ago they are off to the left back corner

Specs on the car Turbo EA82 stock turbo 5-speed no D/R stock Bronco2 4 speed with transfercase with hi and low soobbie 3.9 rear diffs front and rear 30x9.50 Hankook M/T white (trailer) 6 bolt rims redrilled 8,000 Ramsey winch towbar locked (welded) rear diff, open front 9" lift, soon to have 10" in front lots of fun
  21. if you can get a cheep set maybe, if not I wouldnt use them , go with a Mud terrain
  22. what carb would i use on a EJ22 ?? I want lowend torque this is in my old red wagon 6" lift with 27" swampers , locked rearend
