  1. Hot Rodders make frames all the time from rectangular tubing, use something like 2x3 make every joint correct and welded and braced properly , use the lift kit points as brackets not really part of the frame and you will have a substantial frame, if I was doing it I would take a spare straight car flip it over and build he frame then install it on the rusted car

  5. 29" about max with stock Subaru struts, I've seen some ralley struts with a tight coil which gives more room for bigger tires, I can build whatever custom lift parts you need my store www.sjrlift.com. Scott , keep us updated as we like to see these things being built .
  6. use the older EA series cable bracket on the trans , that may work
  7. A trick I use is to hit the arm that holds the the tie rod end ,on the side where the rod shank goes threw , this will shock the rod end out
  8. That second hole may be from the wrecking yard, I've seen that from a wrecking yard engine,
  9. The lower steering knuckle will need lengthened or replaced with a longer one
  10. a set of forester or Legacy outback struts (90-99) will lift it a bit,
  11. No issues, wheeled all day afterwards, just lost some oil

  13. With my adapter SJR the stock ea82 bracket bolts to the top tabs, or you can use a EJ bracket from a EJ transmission
