on the EA81 or EA82 types get yourself some rectangular tubing 2 x 6 x 1/4 for the EA81 2 x 5 x 1/4 for EA82 cut chunks 1-3/4 long drill holes and after the install run diaganal braces from one block to the other , the difficult spots will be the front strut towers , good luck, show us pictures as you bo along you can do it Scott (SJR)

looking at making a few bumpers, double 2" tube bent at the ends , similar to this AA one in the picture but with tow shackles and a option for a 1-1/4" or 2" reciver hitch port heres where the shackles would be front and rear bumpers , I will need to buy a set of 2" tubing bender dies so right now Im just seeing if theres any interest out there to so as to help cover the cost of tooling, and what would you pay for a bumper? Scott in Bellingham replied to Scott in Bellingham's topic in Subaru Retrofitting
OK Im ready to do it , need 2 82 Escort distys as Rollies getting one also, will be casting a weber adapter and weld it to the stock EJ manifold, this will be something I will offer is somebody wants one, -
thats right
-
I like it keep us posted on its preformance

awesome Buggy I want 2 , on the struts I dont know the guys it Azzie would know, the CVs will only take so much so watch out, you could make some custom a arms and use other shocks and springs, I would use the EJ but use a weber and a Escort disty like they do with the airplanes, just as simple as a EA81 but lots more power

I would do it , I ran them on a 2wd metro with good results,if interested I could look at my 12" rims and see if they would work, they are rough at high speeds on solid ground but other then that a great tire and good price
