3 years ago I picked up my first Subaru free, no one else in the family had one, now I have 10 I think , my wife drives a legacy I drive a EA82 Wagon, got a few lifted offroad built ones, have made many good friends though this board, make lift parts for offroad, my mom now has a Subaru , so does my brother and my sister in law, my nephew had one but let it die , so if your going to get into it be ready for it to spread, almost like a disease , and make room for those spare cars that will show up, SJR

Another tire Q? I just want to know about SS's
Scott in Bellingham replied to Phizinza's topic in Off Road
for off road mud and such they are the best, yes softer then most street tires, Ive never compared to kumhos , they are the softest tire Ive owned, -
for offroad its a problen, loss of flex
-
I personally would stay away from EA81 axles seen to many break, If I was going to do that much work would start wuith a complete EJ22 car use all the running gear with engine , will have to be creative on the struts to get tire clearance , Dont go to big or wide a tire and the axles should survive, at minimun use the strongest axles you can get, (EJ)
