drop the crossmember with the steering, use a second crossmember either homemade or another subaru crossmember to hold engine -
keep us updated as Im planning on doing this on my EA82 wagon

only one week left , Andrew come by thusday and lets install those swampers Scott -
Wow you guys are great, my turbo car runs fine cold then when its warmed up it runs like its flooding out with black smoke out the exhast, I changed the oil with what I had walmart 10-40 and it runs much better still rich when hot, also there is oil leaking from the turbo, not sure were I check both oil lines in on the top and out on the bottom, both look fine, wondering if the seals and or bearings are going causing the rich effect and the oil leak, Im new at this turbo thing, any help is appiciated thanks Scott,

I would look at the overall length of the engine I think the yota moter would be too long -

looks like 4 rigs so far 2 subarus and 2 trackers -
sounds great, I would use all the Legacy gear, and grab another 4.11 rear diff for up front,or grab 2- 4.44 diffs , the legacy front suspension arms are much stronger and your not stuck with the old 4 bolt pattern , auto should be fine
