if there was such a product I would be interested in building and selling it at my store, my brother sets up and programs programmable controlers for industry, if we could get all off the shelves parts that would be a plus, are you thinking of using all the stock Subaru sensors and FI parts or ? , are the plug ends available to plug into the stock parts?

is that a ea82 rear setup? I assumed your car was all EJ parts

axles , Ive been thinkinn on this , most of the time they are strong enuf , its just that say %5 of the time we stress them past there limit, now if the axles had some give or flex say like rubber, or some slip like a clutch they wouldn't break cause they would never be stressed to that point, they do sell Sheer type axles for the VW based buggies were the sheer bolts break and you replace them quickly, but I don't think that's the answer, something with give at the point just before axle breakage , not sure the solution but know direction to go ,

its not only Subarus, you will find many a questionable builds on all types of vehicles, ever heard of a "Suicide frontend" on a hotrod? well theres a reason they call it that, people have been modifiying cars for there own purpose even before the first Model T Ford came off the line, how bout the Ford Pinto? they knew from there own tests that it may catch on fire and kill the occupants if rearended just right but out of greed they looked the other way knowing they were going to make a bundle o money and just pay out a few lawsuits, myself I enjoy seeing others creativity and myself enjoy making things and trying them out to see how they work, beleive me Ive made some junk along the way , If I never made a few mistakes I never would of learned on my own whats good and works well and what just wont cut it, the strut thing is the right Idea just needs some refining, maybe if we work together we united can come up with a great safe solution

How do i lift my 85 subaru gl wagon?
Scott in Bellingham replied to conor.maguire41's topic in Off Road
is the original post guy still around? or did he get scared off?, a 9" lift is feasible if constructed properly, I have one on one of my rigs with a Truck rearend , good combo, you will want either more power or lower gears if your tires get to tall -
