  9. time for a change, since I chopped off the back I havent liked any of the configurations I have, I didnt like the spare tire on the back as I couldnt see out the back to back up, I didnt like the hatch bolted on without being able to open it a sthen I had to reach threw the side door to get the gear and I didnt care for the back being like a pickup caus all my stuff got rained on , so in the shop I go , will end up having a workable hatch,no stock lights at the rear corners and some better protection and clearence at the rear also other stuff to do put the dash back in as I havent had one since I replaced the heater core, replace some or all the doors with straight ones of many colors, replace the engine as this ones got a bad blown head gasket at the same time add some Delta torque Cams to that Webered EJ22 may even paint this bad boy bright yellow here it is stock first mod I really like this look pickup style the future

  13. Now on that pivot piece that comes off the upper framing, whats gonna go on the bottom of that, is it just gonna be a domed piece of solid metal and then that cross bar/brace will ride on it, or are you gonna have some type of rubber bumper to cushion it? thats a transverse (lateral) leaf spring, like this front one on a Model T Ford 1908 design Hee Hee

  15. its similar to a "wishbone" suspension like on the ole fords model Ts and As , Ive never seen this setup it just made sense to me, with that back on a pivot I will probably run some airshocks to adjust how stiff I want it

  17. the whole rear of the body will need modified , will keep stock deck lid and lid seal frame rest will be custom to allow for wheel flex, , zzzzzzzzzzzz
  18. empty your PM box I cant send you a message, also got a phone# for me Scott

  19. OK I worked up a price, I dont like it but its what I can do at this time maybe if I find other suppliers I can bring this down, looking at sizes 14 x 6 or 15 x 6 , if there is interest I would like to do 20 wheels if no interest this will just sit as I do not have the funds for this project, I would require prepayment if you want a set then give me 6 weeks to make it happen, also will need to decide what color white or black for the whole bunch $ 155 each wheel powder coated or $ 115 each wheel bare steel you paint
  20. $800 as it sits right now thats with stock 13" tires and a bad/no moter , and stock bumper, the cars never ever been wheeled off road, pretty straight for its age
  21. are you going to post that vid of up on that mud hill were I turned around??
