  2. goin to lift her. .... startin tomarrow if you would like to help 23 Jan 2010 its a 1.8 SPFI 2 wheel drive DL will be installing a dual range , rear axle setup with welded diff and addin lift will be runnin 235/75-15 MTs on yota rims 5" lift front 4" lift rear, the car has the usual stringy dog hairs, pushed in front bumper and hood thats bent fronm flying up while drivin

I hear ya you can do it yourself get some Omni single coat and a cheep harbor freight gun and borrow a air compressor ,Ive done one out under the trees and it came out good, also people have had good luck with these small foam throw away rollers , go with a light color it will hide most the flaws
  6. Nissan / datsun rear diff, same as Nissan 720 4x4 pickup front diff, bolts right up no mods, would need to make own bearing carriors
  7. remember hes got a tranny in that bike engine so 2 trannys i with low range AWesome!!!

  11. I got one its deeper then the toyota, and positions the starter back farther, maybe would work with a automatic starter not sure
  12. is the XT the same underneath as far as the body goes? whats the differences, car you interchang any body parts like the front fenders and hood? what interchanges between the XT and ther EA82s? thanks Scott AE82 car
  13. Heres the EJ Flywheel heres the EJ trannywill need to cut the front off the tranny machine it down , cut the Toyota Bell housing in half Machine it down and weld the 2 halves together

OK decided which direction to go, I didnt really like the Nissan case its so tall and would need a framework to mount up , so I went out and picked up a Toyota 86 4runner 4x4 tranny with transfercase , checked it out tonight Heres the Subaru clutch disc next to the Toyota one, the Toyota one has a bigger hole with more splines , subarus on the right, also the subby preasure plate has a larger throwout bearing and "hole" subbie center bearing slipped onto the Toyota pilot same size...

  16. on the roof or the back beats having it hit you in the head, Ive done that , even broke both moter mounts on that fall

  18. mount rear diff up front , normal not upside down the nissan case is a 720 from early 80s trucks , sammy case works too
