  3. got the car moved today, its now back it the corner all so started some major cleanup found the back wall of the shop, its been 10 years since I saw that area, moved the new to me bandsaw in place , moved the wood stove out next for a steel rack on the back wall
  4. Mick now that you have had it both ways is there anything you miss about hte old Brat before the axle swap? anything??
  5. been lookin at the car and lookin at different options, pros and cons heres a list............................................................................2nd tranfer case Lower gears, weaker front diff studs because Im using a rear Diff Higher center of gravity as the engine and transaxle would be in stock height more weight with 2nd transfercase and frame to mount it,also second crossmember for engine support and 3 drive shafts instead of 1 keep stock transaxle................. lower center gravity , better clearence mid car, less of a aproach angle , less weight, less parts, less engineering, only one driveshaft to have made not 2
  6. been designing a 8" lift for the EA cars so you can mount up a 2nd diff up front and add a transfercase, any interest? anyone want one? if so it would give me more incentive to figure out the details SJR
  7. stop by tonight if you like we could move shotgun willey

  8. it time to get back on this heres the planned revised specs 4.10 toyota rear end 4.10 subaru rear diff upfront 31" mudders would like to get some 32 x 9.50 TLS Swampers eventually, will wait till its runnin dual transfercases, stock subaru and Nissan 720 bob the rear pinch the front winch mounts front and rear transverse buggy spring in rear with tons of flex with airshock overrides engine not sure may go EA81 or carbed EJ or Atomic flux capacitor would like to have it up and going for this summer season of Walker wheelin
  9. My PC is on the fritz so I havent been on line, but thats a stock wheelbase with 6" lift and some 30" tires , if we run the Toyota rearend with the 4.10 gears we could run 31" tires in the rear and 29.48 tires on the front with the stock 3.9 , sorry no T-case no needed with the EJ with Delta Cams and the weight loss program
  10. I wont be there , but you can stop by in the evening if you like maybe 6:00

  12. I do for the the gen1 Legacy (90-93?) ,also have the front and rear strut tower parts to weld up your own towers , may be same I dont know SJR
  13. Blocks placed between all suspension parts and body, so you could call it a body lift, will drop the engine crossmember for more engine room SJR
