  1. still avalible work without lift yes that depends on size tires you want to run holes only no studs or threads
  2. got it road worhty and drove into town tonight, I really like the car goes down the road fine, drove threw and got a burger and had some ice cream , been working on it pretty steddy for 2 weeks , should be ready for our sandlake dunes trip in a week , need to add a towbar , wondering what the thing weighs should get it on a scale and see ,
  3. no, but the back drums are longer then the front discs I use a 14mm drill bit to drill holes , go the pull a part or a parts car with a hammer and a nut and pound out a few
  4. cage isnt finished yet , also the thing is so light has less stress then the stock weight
  5. the doors are gutted basically just the outer shell, will keep people in ,,,and mud and sand and water out , front fenders will be modified

  7. if you have 2' centers grab a 4 x4 or similar and put it on top of 3 or 4 trusses perpendicular to them , this will distribute the load over them all and not just 1

We are going to the Oregon coast week of Aug 10-14 plans are to play on the sandlake dunes just below tillimook, fly kites on the beach , run out into the ocean and get cold, swim in the hotel swimming pool , go out to eat alot , and then end the trip visiting my sister near newberg maybe even hit some local offroad trails , so dont have a shedule yet but got the whole week to play , will be taking the Duner Module towed behind the legacy of maybe the Dakota anyone interested and want to play would like to meet up chime in
  11. I know its a long drive but if you stop by my place with your diff in hand rear cover off drained of oil I will weld it free
  12. it drives found some VW jetta rear shocks they look 4-1/2" longer with a lighter spring , will see if they work should be softer and longer travel
  13. sorry not gonna happen , might not even have a spare basically a road legal ATV
  14. chopped the top off and got the rollbars in place last night , the rear is so light I need to find some softer shocks/springs , anyone know of some that would fit maybe I could just change out the spring on the stock strut , of maybe theres some longer travel softer coil over shocks I could put on the back
  15. shorten the stock doors 12" will be gong to sand lake week of 10-14 Aug no problem with rust here this cars been in to wrecks and there is no rust on the body
  16. if you drop your engine crossmember 1-2" the issue may go away , also have you checked your toe in?
  17. thanks IT LIVES !!!!! after 3 years of sitting apart the car actually runs again, so weee heeee untill I heard it run Ive been antsy as that was the only unknown for me the rest is just cut and weld also got the steel its 1-1/2" x 1/8 thick round tubing decided on 12" shorten it so that will make it 85" wheelbase will chop the top and shorten it tomarrow night for those that want to come by
