correct I now send out the crossmember 1" block as on some installations the axles rub , you have my first 2" lift I sent out so it does not have the 1" engine crossmeber spacer , the picture at my store needs updated -
2" Lift kits for EA82?
Scott in Bellingham replied to TheLoyale's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Rollies correct on the long bolts they are for the engine crossmember, I have heard that the stock outback steering shaft will work on a 2" lift but not sure, the black bars are fpr the enginge crossmember and the for bolts with the silver couplers are for the mustache bar drops it down 1" -

Scott in Bellingham replied to Scott in Bellingham's topic in Off Road
the control arm bends near the bolt mount , you can usually just unbend it , but they do start to crack at that point , Ive never hurt the crossmember its a Ea82 -

driving in low range all the time, is it bad for tranny
Scott in Bellingham replied to oooo's topic in Off Road
on a dual range transaxle you can run it in fwd low range just need to remove the short linkage from the front of the trans to the rear thats the hi/ low then just leave it in low or make 2 seperate linkages -

OK looking at this picture the top row is the mustache bar blocks and longer bolts for that the next row is the rear shock extensions ,yes rotate the tops 180, the 4 long bolts and the 1" long pipes drop the diff , and then of course the front strut extensions , this is the first version , the new one comes with a front engine crossmember 1" block as Ive found on some not all installs the axles rub, Scott -
I plan on it , fired up the ole white wheeler and even gave it a bath , lookin forward to going its been awhile,
