  1. with my 2" kit I also provide a engine crossmember block to keep the camber correct and so the axles wont rub the crossmember
  2. probably keep the back this blue color and paint the front a lighter color with old school scallops , and a number 13 on the door, I do need some paint advice from you as I am ready to start on the frame mods and I want to paint the frame as I go similar to this

  8. that sounds nice, Im trying to do this on a low budget of Money and time would be nice to run it this summer , I have the ford v-6, would like to save the stock tranny transfercase of the D-50 as it already there and hooked up and its tucked up nicely in the frame, I wish I had a worker that could help me on these things as my time is limited but my ideas are not SJR
  9. I looked at the real thing today its the same as the model Dodge D-50 Mitssubishi Dark blue and guess what its a 4 wheel drive with a new weber carb , the engines shot and it parts so its perfect for the project :banana::banana:

  14. anyone else support this thought ? I remember on the old VW bugs the older simpler engines seem to have more lowend , Ill have to look into what I got thinking this engine should get a carb and go in a light sand/woods buggy SJR
  15. picked up another engine this one is a EJ 2.2 with single port exhast got the y pipe with it my question is , is the blocks the same and can I put dual port heads on it? also wich engine will have more low end torque ( thinking offroad crawling engine) can I mix the parts for more lowend torque? thanks Guys Scott
  16. my bad you will also need FWD Impreza front axles ( dont recall what year) and change the rear diff to a 3.9
  17. need dr tranny , starter and linkage ej-ea adapter plate ea redrilled flywheel driveline modified custom trannny crosmember mount and a partridge in a pear tree
  18. Ive used toyota 22r headbolts for that lift
