Louisiana's an OK market for Subaru, but nothing special. I see decent numbers of Imprezas and Foresters, but the Crosstrek has had a nice run here, it seems. I might consider the above if the resale on Crosstrek's is excellent and I get 0% APR financing while I wait for the 2018. Also if there are enough updates to the Crosstrek (like Direct Injection and updated CVT) in 2017 I might bite... Though now that I think of it, I'll be in an end of cycle model (2017) vs. a start of cycle model (2018) for the first time in a looooong-time. XD But hey, the end of cycle model should have even better reliability and the kinks ironed out, right?
I'm close to being in the market for a new vehicle, not so much for myself, more to give my current vehicle (2012 Ford Focus hatch) to my Dad. He's planning to retire his car around the end of the year, though it's still operational and he might squeeze another year out of it - but my vehicle is in much better shape and I want him to keep something more modern than his 2002 Mitsubishi Galant.
