That last picture sums up where i'm at right now. My assembly looks a little different though because i had to remove 4 allen heads. It doesnt seem as though i can replace the studs at the point. I have to take that stud plate off. The axle nut is the only thing holding me back. Suggestions to get that off?

How do I remove the rear rotor on my 99 subaru forester? I have removed the caliper and cannot get the darn rotor off. I have to replace the wheel studs before tomorrow because I have to work tomorrow. Please help me! Edit: Also, do i need to remove the axle nut? Is an impact wrench necessary? Is the axle nut clockwise thread or reverse thread?

It looks as though if you had front duals then you'd be doing more "plowing" through mud than just floating over it. I think that you would lose a lot of momentum trying to get through that messy stuff. For mud, I'd skip the duals in the front.

ok, so im a little inebriated...(hey, at least I spelled it right) so, I want to beef up my carrying capcacity... i need...correct me if i'm wrong. 88-89 front accord springs and RX springs for the front? Question is... what RX springs do I need for the front of my 92 Subaru wago? (4wd). Inform me as much as you can... please!

Will be driving to Missoula Montana from Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania within a few weeks. I've realized that I MUST upgrade my stock springs. 4 people and all of their gear to Montana will bottom my car out to the point of destruction. I figure I can get my hands on some accord springs, but the RX springs in my area will be tough to find. Does anybody have some that will fit my car and are in half decent condition? Also, I've never done a spring swap, but I dont imagine that it'll be that difficult. How bout some pointers? Thanks guys.

Boots are great. Good when I bought the car. I'm putting bumpy/hard miles on this car. It will clunk when hitting bumps and when a jolt in accleration occurs.

I just did a search, and this came up. It's always something to consider. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/catalog.gsp?cat=165124&path=0:5436:120160:120006:119896

I'm hearing klunk klunk from my front end. Sound's like it's on the drivers side. Also, at highway speed, there is a "rubbing/grinding" sound. It's pretty subtle. It's also from the front end. CV joint? I'm really not sure, although it's probably an ez answer. Whattya think?

I've run coopers on my f-150 for years, and they're an awesome tire. Good price too.

The unibodys are sure stiff enough.

What am I lookin at to pay for a 5 spd dual range transmission in Pennsylvania? And...If i install one, is it gonna look like garbage in the interior?
-
I'm gonna have to tear some of my interior out to inspect the damage. In my opinion, it's not too bad yet, but the rear wheelwels in the front are starting to go. I'm haveing them replaced. I really want this car to last me another 10 years. Hopefully!

Ok, so i just got my car back from my body guy because i hit a few deer a couple months back. When i picked it up he said not to put too much money into it because the undercarriage is on it's way out. This is not what i wanted to hear. I looked under the car, and it doesnt look that bad. I dont know what to do! Should i get it undercoated or what? Run it until it sags in the middle? This is making me rething getting the rusty body spots fixed in the spring. ARRG!! What would you do?

In pennsylvania, you have to be able to rull a pop can under the car, without it hitting anywhere. -
You may not know this, but that was actually me driving. I'm ok though, just a few bruises.

Out of curiousity, how does your car handle? My car handles like a turd on wheels. -

That, might be, the most absurd thing i've ever seen.
