  5. Hello, I hope someone can help me with this. 1997 Outback. 4 cylinder. 5 spd. 260,000 miles. When you start out cold it revs normal but after warm up it starts shutting off at about 4300 rpm. It's not dying just cutting out like it's starving for fuel. When you back off the throttle and get below the 4300 rpm it's fine again. May be electrical of course.
