  1. Hi ChicagoHC, Thanks for posting that response. I had the similar question. My scenario is waiting in the parked car in a parking lot or street curb. I would want the doors locked, potentially with the moon roof open or windows partially down, but not necessarily have the alarm armed. It can get a bit hot in Sacramento waiting for the kids/wife to eventually show up. I have a keyless ignition, so I am wondering if you have to push the button to turn the car on (as opposed to "turn the ignition switch to on) - in other words, the car will be running? If so, that would be an odd way to accomplish this. I was wondering if anyone has experience doing this. It seems like there should be a better way than the start car/open door/push-and-hold lock button thing... Own a 2015 Outback Limited
