  3. you wont have any problems, thats what i had on my leggo with outback struts now once you are all done with this, why dont you come out to jersey and join us in march at the pine barrens meet? remember if i am running that size on my impreza nonlifted you should be fine
  4. wow i'm amazed that no one answered to this post well a 2002 5spd for 9900! thats a good price you can negotiate for a lower price, but keep in mind that that subaru comes with more standard equipemnt than other cars, ABS, AWD, Its A Subaru, is more comfy than a Beetle, away more reliable, so take those things in consideration, and yes you could retrofit the bun warmers on a 2002, also i'm not sure about HG leaks on 2002s i think they fixed that by then, but search the forum you'll get some info on it. Good luck and post pictures when u get it Neo

  10. No other symptoms, no torque bind or anything the only thing i've noticed since its that the first gear takes a little long to shift into second, but that may be the cold weather. I've noticed that when the front wheels start to spining the rear wheels kick in right away, so there is a 1 or 2 seconds delay there but definetely not stuck in AWD, i tried in the snow and at the pine barrens last saturday. the power light blinks whenever i start the car, and when i pull the code its code 32 ... VSS1, how long do I have to fix that till it causes any major problems? and does anybody know the part number for that sensor? just in case... but tomorrow i'm gonna get under the car remove the sensor and see if all the wires and connectors are in ok condition... i'm just afraid that i'm gonna cause any more damage driving like that
  11. yeah its an Auto, but i went to the barrens on staurday and i was playing in the snow yesterday and the AWD was and is working, still i have code 32 on the tranny, thats the VSS1, weird aint it?
  12. its def the VSS1, thats the code that the comp is giving me is there a problem running like that? there is nothing wrong how it shifts or anything...
  13. i'm not sure it may be sorry it took me so long to reply i usually dont check threads that are closed do a search on 1st subaru parts with that part number and see it it is the same for the forester

  20. Definetely, 95 or 96 2.2 legacies are very reliable shop around and take your time to get the right one, i took my time shopping around and i fond a 95 legacy LS wagon in mint condition family car, well maintained at a subaru dealer here in NJ, that car WAS a very nice car, i could count on it day after day... watch out for the 4EAT tranny, check the fluid, take the car for a spin after is fully warmed up, check to see if reverse engages right away and make sure all gears are shifting... 5spd would be the way to go but they are hard to find even then make sure the clutch is ok, also dont let a small oil leak scare you away, it may be just the front crank seal on the other had if its leaking frm behind the engine it very well may be the rear seal, most used subarus leak at the valve cover gasket, that is a easy quick job it can be done in less than 30 mnts... hmm what else... oh CV axles, lol yeah every used subaru i ever bought had a riped cv boot, that can run you up to $200 to get it fixed. good luck
  21. I shouldnt be that hard to do it, why pay 150 or 200 if oyu can save that to get big tires!
