  2. yeah opppsss i forget that i had to write something up and get some pics of the install
  3. lol i did get to paint them but the paint match was sooooo bad and i decided to keep them black so i striped all the paint and reinstalled it
  4. ok well i've added the headlight washers, jdm belt cover and auto dimming mirror, and off course you have seen the gauge pack. Oh and I decided to wax her today so here it is. enjoy!!
  5. i've had problems like that because of the TPS sensor, i've had many SS and almost all of then had that problem except the last one
  6. Hi john Yes you have to run the supplied harness through the firewall for the sensor that goes by the grile. all you need to do is to pop the ruber plug right above the brake pedal on the firewall and that will be right under the brake booster, so just shove the wire throught there and you'll see it in the engine compartment then pull it carefully untill enought is needed to route and reach the center part of the wood latch. More info is here. this guy did it with his WRX and it works the same for us, just the unit placement for the legacies is right uner the radio. http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-1203.html BTW it is not a major mod. to do, if you can swap radios you can do this. :-p good luck and let me know how it goes, i'll post pics of the installed harness soon cheers Neo
  7. its not hard at all do install it comes with the harness to connect between the radio and the car, and that harness is a "plug and play", the only "difficult part" is the cable for the temp sensor in front of the car by the grill, which wasnt hard for me but it may be for some people
  8. ok i got a new toy and it fits perfectly, the connections that comes with it, plugs right into the harness of the car radio, while sharing the same harness you cancontroll the brightness of the light too, oh yeah its the gauge pack for the forester, part number H5010FC001. take a look and gime your comments, also i have included my red lighting gauges EDIT: of course it is installed on my legacy wagon cheers Neo
  9. so what people, subarus are great cars, gays not only drive subarus but they drive volkswagens and Audi, and pontiacs and so on. I am Gay and I drive a Subaru But i dont only drive it because the company supports the gay community, i drive it because they are great and reliable cars and easy to work on. and above all i love it. PS: gays and lesbians are humans too. cheers Neo
  10. well talking about tires, i went to get my tires balanced today, also i asked them to check if any alignment needed, so they got the car on the aligment ramp and sensor on the wheels, and guess what.... NO ALIGNMENT needed. yay!! well i swaped the struts i marked the 3 bolts up top with a sharpie so when i put it back together i put exactly where it was and i guess it worked.
  11. "making legacy high as outback" actually its a little higher, i parked next to several outback from 96 to 99 and it is really higher by about 1". weird
  12. Very easy swap, it took me 3 hours total, as far as the cold weather packge, it includes heated mirrors, heated seats, heated windshield (were the wipers are).
  13. I gained about 3" lift i used a 96 outback struts nd springs and i believe up to 99 is all the same no stabilizer bars were touched and i have checked with 3 mechanics and they all said that they have to use the outback specs for the alignment
  14. thanks no problems with the tires on the wheels they fit perfectly, i've had those with the original suspension, the brake hoses were fine too, enough for suspension travel but i was worried too when i changed it last weekend, as far as the alignment goes i havent noticed that it is off, but i am gonna get an alignment done anyways just to make sure everything is ok
