  1. Hey guys, ok i have started my outback conversion of my 95 legacy wagon LS just this past weekend i got a complete set of struts installed, and... heheheh it looks good, it rides better, its a firmer ride and now i can see over some cars. PICS PICS PICS here is a list of the process Struts and Springs - COMPLETED OB bumpers Grille Tires Cold Weather package Gate bar
  2. yeah but it didnt come out entirely it was only a inch or 1/2" away from its original position. would that make it leak diff oil? well what should I do, its back in place and i already went for a ride, its not leaking anymore, is it something i should worry about?
  3. it didnt come out entirely, it was about 1" pulled away from the diff from its original location and it was leaking. any thoughts?
  4. ok all started today when i decided to do the Outbackfitication of my legacy wagon. i put the struts on and i might have dislocated the drivers side front axle that goes to the transmission . well i found out when there was diferential fluid leaking on top of the Y exhaust pipe and there it was, the axle was pulled out of the tranny. now my questions are: does the axle come out of the tranny with out removing the pin? does it leak when that happens? (it was leaking diferential oil) I put it back the way it was, is it gonna stop the leak? do i Have to do any thing else? thanks in advance Neo
  5. i got one from pepboys and it works fine on my 95 obd2 also works with other cars
  6. P0420 happened to me last week when was more than 105 degrees outside, i reset the OBD system and i havent had it on since then. I think it has something to do when the weather gets too hot and the Cat converters temp raises too much and they dont work as efficiently as they are supposed to, that way the second o2 sensor reads as a bad exhaust.
  7. ok well, if yoour speedo is jumping, it is time to change the sensor, the price may vary from $67 online to $99 at a dealer. the part number is 85082AC002 thats for 95 to 98 legacy AWD.
  8. hey guys, i think my speedo is going on me, do you have a part number?? i looked all around and could not find a part number. thats for a 95 legacy AWD with ABS, Automatic. thanks in advance Neo
  9. Dohhhhhhhhh, i wanted to go i didnt check the meet-greet section,
  10. Hey The guy in washington on rt 57 is a good guy, i've bought parts there before and had some service done there. There is a guy in Keyport that i really trust, the name of the place is Economy Machine, his name is Ron. cheers Neo
  11. i've been getting 28mpg average runninig with 3 oz of acetone on a tank, thats a 95 legacy wagon LS 4EAT
  12. i wish i knew this when i had the SS legacy, that was a great car, but a gas guzzler
  13. 90% highway and 10% city, yup now i get -/+ 29mpg at 65-70 mpg, like i said i'm at 220 miles at half of tank. amazing. well my wallet is loving it.
  14. hey Carl yes i did not mention it but i did, i just plugged in my scanner and reset the ECU. that may be it i'm already on the second tank and same results 220 miles with half of tank!
  15. nahh not really, its working already, i had the best mileage ever on my last tank, 410 miles! i used to get tops 270 per tank
  16. hehe the driver should lose some weight! lol well here are some partial results on the mileage on the first tank. well it was 410 miles at almost at Empty mark and i filled it up with 14 gallons of gas, thats 29+mpg!!!!!!!! i got an extra 6mpg! it definetely pulls harder and it is smoother. all this with just 3oz of acetone. welli am on the second tank of gas and i'll keep you all posted Neo
  17. well as everybody knows the gas prices are a little steep, so i was doing some research for a alternative fuel ideas for my subaru and this is what i came through: http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directory:Acetone_as_a_Fuel_Additive#Experiment_at_your_own_risk there is a guy with a 93 legacy doing this experiment and said that his gas mileage increased, so i'm doing it too on my 95 legacy LS wagon lets see where it goes. i'll keep you all posted regards Neo
  18. How many miles is on the body? is it a AWD? 5spd or Auto? well 2K would be perfect price for a 95 legacy 5spd awd with ABS and a bad motor. If thats the case you will just have to swap motors, pretty easy to do.
  19. Hello Sorry to give yo bad news but the exactly same thing happened to me with my 90 legacy wagon L 5 spd i had. It turned out to be the head gasket. sniiiifff that was a good car 200k miles when i sold her.
  20. hahah i have! anyways i didnt know foresters came with drums? 2001? wow i thought they all had 4 wheel disks. hmmmm
  21. what you want is the legacy outback, which in these days its only called outback, the outback sport is the impreza and i think it does not have the raised suspension.
